Well, that was very hot indeed. FUN porno. I was just charmed by Yoji's blurting out "I think I love you" when he did, plus the immediate aftermath, and Aya's dirty talk was... um... inspiring. "I think about it too..." so true! The condom fight was cute, too. All I have to say is - Yes! More movies!

Love the "responsible note" at the end of this. Too much fun even though Aya and Yohji really aren't my favorites.

Wow. Very nice. I have been looking around for a good Y/A fic that isn't incredibly angst-muffin ish. This is just what I was searching for! Can't wait until the next post. Please e-mail me when you do if you can. Brilliant work!

The scene between Ken, Aya and Yohji in the flower shop was hilarious. Ken's narrow-mindedness is Yohji's windfall! I'm looking forward to more.

i love how pissed Aya got at the suggestion that his looks dictate his level of testosterone and thereby behavior - silly Ken. Tho i do like Aya to be on the bottom, I can totally see him nailing Yohji just to prove a point. Their struggle for dominance can be really sexy. Cant wait for more

Comment/Review:
Back in 1982 Bruce Fierstein wrote a book called "Real Men Don't Eat Quiche". The Feminist Movement was by that time well established, though by no means had won all its battles, and men were looking around to see if there weren't aspects of this new emancipation which they could claim for themselves. The book was meant to show the absurdity of certain stereotypes of men, by men, by listing actions and attitudes in which 'real men' would not consider participating. Of course there was a spate of authors who took the book to task, somehow overlooking the humour-by-irony of the book and ultimately, the whole concept. Some of the purported activities sound today like practically Victorian attitudes to a different generation who has another set of criteria by which they judge masculinity, and also don't buy into the idea that men--or women--should be imprisoned by roles they may not have chosen for themselves. In my view, there is a similar refrain running through Omni-sama's story "You're So Damn Hot". The humour and the getting-together and the 'comedy of errors' are all fun and pleasant reading, but we shouldn't forget that the better writers are the ones who are trying to say something important with their stories. We were promised "No angst. No killing. No blood". We were not promised 'No meaning'. [Does that remind anyone else of the "imi nashi" part of YAOI?] Those of us who follow and adore AyaxYohji or YohjixAya fics have some fixed ideas about who should top or bottom, too, just like Ken. We too are making assumptions about the personality and sexual preferences of these fictional characters (though they may seem all too real at times). It is said that the better writers engage you in the story, and engage you in the characters to the point where you care about what happens to them. After reading this fourth chapter, I care that Aya's choices are not made for him. I care that someone listens to what Aya wants out of an encounter--or a relationship. I care that whoever it is that Aya beds be there for Aya as a person, complex and contradictory though he may be, not because Aya is a conquest and therefore in submission. When I first began reading this story I was not at all convinced of either Ken's or Yohji's sincerity concerning Aya. It seemed more like a contest between Ken and Yohji, the prize not even being Aya but simply the victory over the other man. I wasn't sure I wanted either of them to win such a special and cherishable man as Aya. It was as if neither man had thought of what happens beyond the victory. As Yohji is drug up to the bedroom, he seems to be in the 'whatever you want as long as it's us' mindset. That, to me, is a positive development, and in Yohji's favour, showing he has respect for Aya as well as lust. But we'll see how the bedroom scene plays out, and what _Aya_ wants to do about 'later'.

OMG! Ditto what everyone said below. That was kick ass! I loved the myth busting. Poor Ken, haha. I love the closing! Yohji sounds like a little kid skipping off to get candy. Woo! Ah, what a marvelous, hilarious, wonderful chapter.
