i was wondering when you where going to update, but at least you did and not just stop writing completly. I hate when authors do that and leave you hangin'. Well hope you had a good holiday and hope you update. Peace.

wow... I just pulled an all-nighter reading the entire fic up to the current chapter(18) @_@ i was planning on sleeping a few hours ago but i kept needing to see what would happen next T_T its 6AM and my alarm is set for 630, I wont wake up for that lol and then ill be late for work I can handle working 8 hours after working 7 then not sleeping lol that just goes to show how captivating I found your fic, that and im INSANE! : D update soon! Kags and Inu need to make up, and Miroku needs to be un-happened-to

I have just sat down and read this entire fanfic over the course of my free time in the past two days, and I only have praise and compliments for it. The characterizations and relationships between the characters are superb. The only character I have trouble with is Kagome's mom, who is such a nice person in the anime and and manga that I don't really like seeing her portrayed as anything short of perfect. But I can understand why your specific characterization is necessary for the plot line of this fanfic. I enjoy the setting, especially the amount of research that you have put into properly portraying the city of Tokyo. I think that maybe InuYasha and Kagome should have fought a bit more before they gave in and fell in love, but I like everything else about the course of their romance. I feel attunded to the characters, and I especially appreciate the skill that you exhibit in using different viewpoints and back-too-back descriptions of what is going on in different places. I also enjoyed the attention to details and the jokes - sooooo funny that it almost killed me half of the time. Reading this fic made me feel really, really sorry for Souta - usually he is the child, the one who still has a silly, fun-loving outlook on life, but in this fic, he is the one with all of the stress and responsibility, rather than Kagome, who generally bears the brunt of the stress of a hectic life. In terms of the general plotline and development: the story follows a classic story cycle, but is written in an engaging manner, so that even if I already can forsee what is going to happen, I want to read it to enjoy the quality of the writing, not just to confirm plot points that I had already suspected. Things don't happen too quickly, which is a good thing in my book. Far too many fanfics that I have read rush from point to point without time to breathe or discern the difference between the events, but your fic does not fall into this pit, for which I am eternally grateful. I, myself, often make the mistake of wanting to say something so much that I forget to elaborate on the previous event at all. In terms of grammar and punctuation, you sometimes suffered small slip-ups (such as using they're for their or leaving out an article), but on the whole, it was pretty good. I'm not sure if you're into beta-reading, but if you need someone to check your grammar, I can make some recommendations. This is just friendly advice, by the way, and I mean no insult. Anyhow . . . there are a few details that I would be interested in seeing integrated into the body of the fic, if possible, like 1) How exactly Rin and Sesshomaru met (I bet it's a cute story!) 2) Whether InuYasha and Sesshomaru dye their hair or it's a genetic throwback (does their dad have silver hair and golden eyes too?) 3) Is there going to be a Miroku/Sango love interest story in this fic? Just some ideas for you to think about - I love it when people help me to stimulate my muse, so I always try to help others with my input and ideas. By the way, if you get a minute, check out my fanfic, "The End of Innocence", if you don't mind a bit of violence in the beginning of a story. Whew! Glad I'm done with the utterly shameless self-promotion. To sum it all up, you have a great fanfic here, I like it a lot, and I'm going to look you up right now and see if you have written anything else because I will read it right away, as soon as I can! You are certainly on my hit favorites list, which only has about twenty fics on it that I check up on every day to see if they have been updated. Anyhow, thanks a lot for giving me this fic to read (and entertain myself when I become bored with my homework!). I can't think of anything else to say, really, but I want to make this review take up the full 4000 words, so I promise to keep on rambling until I attain this goal! You've probably never recieved a review this long, but I make a point to always write as much as I can. :) :) :) :)

Yes, she is on her way. But I hope she'll be fine in New York and hope she won't have to go to Boston, dangerous. Never did like New York but hey. Well update soon and keep up what your good at.

tee hee! i too enjoy when kagome is devious. and what will our dear inu do when kagome shows up in new york. not to mention what will kagome's daddy do when she didn't sit like a good girl and await the next scrip? and will kikyou get bitch slapped soon? will kagome do it? will sango be coming into the picture (i forget where she lives). okay 20 questions is done. i'll anticipate the next chapter with bated breath.

That is so sad! To hear your own father says your disowned from your family.Inuyasha can't forget about Kagome no matter how hards he tries.And Kagome's right she doesn't know anything about his life in New York cause if she did then she would know that Inuyasha changed completely while he was with her and with his family. He's not bad he's just made alot of mistakes and he knows that he just needs someone to give him a chance to prove he can do it. The rule is thrid strike and your out but Inuyasha was never one to follow rules he needs Kagome to give him a fourth try. Please write a new chapte soon. I really want to know how Kagome is going to act when she finds out Inuyasha is gone. When you love someone you can just let them go with a blink of a eye.

I cried through out this whole chapter! *sniffle* Inuyasha was sure quick to run away, although I don't blame to much. Hopefully this angst won't be for too long...right? Can't wait for the next chapter, update soon!
