Omg i love and hate you at the same time. This story is just so sad and so romantic. I swear to god ive cried through almost evry chapter. lol!!! This story is just so freakin great and so far all i can think to say for your latest chapter is wow! It was so heart breaking yet so beautiful. How in the world do you only have 12 (well, 13 now i guess) reviews? This is one of the most well-written fics i've run across in a loooong time. Your writing style is so lyrical it fits perfectly with the atmosphere i think you're trying to create. But my favorite aspect of your story is how, even with all she's experiencing and has yet go through, there are times where pure, unadultered Fuu shines through. I can't even imagine how hard it must me to write that happy-go-lucky personality into the current situation without it seeming out of place. As for Fuu and Jin finally making a little lemonade, i must say it's about time! But at the same time, any earlier, and i think it would have seemed rushed. So in other words, i think you had perfect timing. The jin-jin filler served to bring them to a point where taking this next step seemed perfectly natural. Kudos! But how will they react in the morining? Knowing jin, he'll be all awkward and try to apologize, and fuu will have to smack some sense into him. Eee! I can't wait! This is making me feel like a highschooler again, just waiting for the next piece of gossip. Keep up the fantastic writing!

omg....that was, how shall i describe it. incredibly touching...so much to the point that i darn near cried.. currently thinking about finding the tissues. very very well written. i dont think it was all that hurried, and any oocness is gonna happen anytime you make a character that is stoic and outwardly cold engage in some type of emotional response. i dont think Jin was out of character though....just right. wonderfulness and my romantic side hopes for Jin to get his wish.

This is a wonderful story. While Fuu's terminal illness is sad, it is not maudlin. The reader is moved not only by the events but by the unspoken feelings that Jin has for Fuu. I can't wait until he gets the courage and the self-realization to express his love for her.

oh, it sure took a while for you to post the next chapter, but i don't mind as long as you actually don't forget about the story ^_^ I feel so bad for Fuu, because the cat ran away. I must admit that the cat seems to be so cute! i love cats and have 2 on my own so here you go. Probably it will come back at an unexpected moment, ne? (don't mind my spelling, its late late at night, i just saw that you updated and desided to take a look ^_^) and i have to say it again, i love this story it is so so sad but so wonderful too! I am quite enjoying this very original fic! I like the Jin introspection - it is wonderful to see the growth in his charachter as he continues to help and support Fuu. I am looking forward to the next chapter very much!

Having a freat time reading this fanfic so far, but the heart cancer got me to wondering (I'm taking medical classes, so it was a natural sort of curiosity). Looked up over the internet to find what I could on Fuu's affliction and came across very little information. It seems that there isn't really much in the way of cancer in the heart itself, but there can be a type of cancer in the blood vessels. My quick search also showed me that Fuu is either going to have to get chemotherapy, radiation treatment, or else a miracle cure that I'm sure is only known by some fictional, wise pharmacist of this time period in Japan. Good luck if you decide that Fuu-chan does need treatment. ^_~ Lol, or maybe she'll get a jewel shard from Inu Yasha. For the fanfic itself, you're doing an excellent job thusfar, but I'm beginning to wonder if Jin has forgotten his affections for Shino now that he's worried about Fuu so much. ^_^ I sorta hope so, cause the poor girl deserves him! But if something does happen to Fuu, perhaps Jin will use his newfound compassion for Shino? ^_~ Ah well, whatever happens, I'm sure that it will be for the best. Good luck on future chapters, I'll be reading! ^_^

OMG....you so about had me in tears this chapter. I guess it hits a little close to home for me. a happy ending would be nice, ne? this story rocks(even if it is slightly depressing(but its soo sweet...loving the fluff...hopeless romantic:S)). keep up the kicking good work and update soon!!! I absolutely enjoyed this one! i'm ready to sit at my computer and wait for the next chapter lol ! If you get technical there were a few grammer errors but they in no way take away from the enjoyment factor. i absolutely love the fuu X jin pairing. Thank you for writing this wonderful read for us!
