I am always pleased when another chapter appears, they cheer me up, and make me happy to see the development of such a deep and complicated relationship between them all.

this was a good story and i really liked it. i especially like the issues that kurama and hiei had becoming instant parents. the only thing i wish was different is i wanted to know what happened to the other children, by what you wrote they were at least partially aware of their surroundings. also if the notes the crazy guy took were good enough that hiei and kurama (as well as others) can have more kids.

Wow, I just realized that I have been reading this story since the day you posted and yet I have not reviewed it. For one, I suck at reviewing. Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy reading this story as well as your other one. Can't wait for the next update.

Only you would manage to turn an experiment created by a crazy scientist into that cute bundle of Kurama and Hiei. That was such a cute way to bring him about, too! Hiei will undoubtedly make a great parent! Kurama, now his reaction was funny, but I'm sure he'll do well, too. Besides, Shiori will be there...everyday. ^^ Update soon!

Well, this is a bit more than just being awesome. Ok, ok, I love the series, yaoi and all. Not to mention that sweet scene at the very end of the latest chapter (god, I wish someone had the talent to draw this out, I'd love to see it on a page, or hell, on a TV screen). Unfortuneately, my drawing talents suck, though I would love to see it. Anyway, this story, this series of stories is insanely awesome. Keep it up man.

Hey, there! I'm a new reviewer, but not a new fan. (I just registered about thirty seconds ago since I had to be a member to review.) I've been with "Coming Clean" for a long while, now. I read it and "Bugs" last year and I've come back to read them again. If possible, they're even better the second time around. I was more than pleasantly surprised when I saw that there was yet another story added to the series. I had completely forgotten you had said there would be an addition. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your work. Your stories are the ones that I copy onto my hard drive to read again and again. I love the way you characterize everyone. Over the entire series, you were able to bring to light some real-life issues that people have to deal with. Acceptance, change, prejudice, and more that I'm not thinking of. You actually dealt with those issues. You didn't just glance over them and dismiss them as trivial. You recognized the fact that these are things that are not dealt with overnight and that they take work and conscious effort. Hatanaka is the character you chose for this role. He genuinely loves his family but doesn't know how to overcome his upbringing. But, through the support of his family and his open mind he's able to. Though, in Akambo, it has yet to be seen how much he's changed. Shiori is nothing short of amazing. This is a mother who loves her son more than anything in the world. Bluntly, she kicks ass. I mean, she has to if she's earned Hiei's respect. It isn't everyone who can accept that her son is a demon who's mated to another (male) demon and the trouble that follows them around. I wouldn't be surprised if her hair was completely gray by the time the series was over. Kurama is my favorite character in this series (and possibly the anime). He's a very gentle person, while at the same time has the capacity to slay you without even losing an eyelash. He's proven many times over throughout the series how much his family means to him. Personally, I think he's one of the luckier demons out there. Because he was forced to take refuge in a human body, he's learned things he never could have otherwise and given his mother the chance to enjoy the joys of motherhood. It's also because of this that he found Hiei. Had he not learned from his human mother what love was, he and Hiei would never have had what they have now. Seeing that kind of love between them is beautiful. It's the kind of love that inspires others. As much as I love Kurama, Hiei is the character who has changed the most, as you have addressed in this fic. I think it's good that you brought that back up, because it's true. Hiei has come an amazingly long way from when Kurama first brought him home to recover from his injuries. Not only is he mated to his previous accomplice and deeply in love, he has adopted a human mother. Not to mention everything in between. I mean, he just allowed Kuwabara to marry Yukina! Before I forget to mention it, I have to say how much I love the "vertical cuddling." That made me laugh while at the same time I had to agree. I'm so glad that they love to cuddle. They're demons after my own heart. :) Even after all this, I'm sure I could continue babbling on about how good this series is. I hope I haven't bored you with my long-winded response. I've never reviewed here and only have since fanfiction.net is down. I couldn't not leave you with something for all the work you've put into this. I truly admire you and shall add you to my favorite author's list on ff.net once I'm able to. Thank you for the wonderful read which I'm sure I'll enjoy time and time again. How crazy this all seems to be. I have to admit, my gut reaction when Hiei was thrown against the wall was that he was the infected thing attached to Kurama, but then I was like "No...wait for it and don't make assumptions." Now I feel silly, but I'm also hoping the rest of the chapters take the hint and get themselves out ASAP.

YOU UPDATED!!!!!!!!!! You have no idea how happy and surprised I was when I saw that. And don't worry, none of your regular readers will even think about commenting on OOC-ness. So much has happened to change the characters, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. This was a cute little chapter what with the wedding preparations and all. And it was so funny envisioning Kurama and Hiei dancing and Hiei simply resting against him! Too Cute!! Update soon!

Woho, I cannot imagine someone picking up the series at this point. But I liked it; Hiei's explanation to Yukina was logical and thoughtful, yet sort of dodgy in a very Hiei-esque manner. I think it suited him well. The whole thing was nice enough, for its shortness (not that anything is wrong with a short chapter, but the series has been so great that I am always eagerly awaiting more). Short and sweet, perhaps. Well written.
