Oh my! I rarely find a story that captivates me so much, and I'm anxiously waiting for the next installment. I rarely read WIPs, but this was just so interesting, I knew I was going to love it halfway through the first chapter. You've created an absolutely beautiful world here, and I feel rather special that I get to read it. Thank you.

I suppose this is going to sound weird, but I really like the cook. I think it's wonderful how you've given even a minor character such a fully-fleshed personality, it is a mark of a talented and dedicated author. I very much look forward to more of this story. Oh, and I hope that Fei-Fei finds someone, the poor grumpy dragon!

Thanks for the shout out. I really loved this chapter too. I think that was the perfect punishment for Heero too. I'd be confused too, if all of a sudden we had to have our Captain in custody, by order of the XO and not anyone higher than the Captain. I have to clean my house now for Yule celebration tonight. So, I will be checking this out for a new chapter again and I'll tell the others you updated. ~France

Pretty good story, though I'm glad to see we're finally getting close to the "what happened and why" part of things. One thing I found a little 'out there' in this chap was the going swimming in muddy moat water the same day (or within a day) of the beating that left the back so bruised. With a back lashing like that, I'd think he'd be laid up in bed for a couple of das after on his stomach. Just a thought :)

I love this story. Since I don't have access to this website all of the time, my cousin sends me the updates. I wish I could have reviewed earlier for this. Anyway, please update soon. Whether I'm out to sea or in port, I am reading this and enjoying every event that is taking place. Also, I'd like to let you know that three other sailors on my ship are in current read of this (as when they have time to do so) and are enjoying it's fantastic adventure and romantic story.
