"He swore like an Anchorite..." there's that reference again, I think Duo maybe an Anchorite and the poor horse in the stables is his. I'm still wondering what happen to Duo's lesson? prehaps is was that guardsman that Heero sent packing, he seemed very forward and took pleasure in Heero punishing Duo to have the same instruments ready for Heero's use at the door. When, and I say when because Heero's is becoming more opening and trusting toward Duo, Duo is free to roam the village, he should be watchful and careful. yea, Wu Fei asked him! Update soon!

This is an awesomely well written AU fic. It's so touching. Duo is just so sweet and priceless that I want to just hug and pet him, lol. And Heero is just hot. This is really wonderful storytelling. I can't wait for the next chapter.

I really enjoy your story and the amount of mystery you have makes it very interesting. The way you portray Duo is pretty unique: how he has a stubborn strak in him but how he also really want's to please Heero. I just hope you make it to where Duo can talk soon! *smile* Update soon!

wow, this story is really good, but I really want Duo to speak again, at least some words, it´s quite frustrating like that(sorry if that sounds like a complaint) PLEASE write more soon, I can´t imagine what will come next!!!

I love this story thus far. You obviously know many things about the time they are to be in, and you know many words I had to look up! ^_^ I am adding this story to my favorite list and going to check to see if you have other stories just as good as this one. This is getting better every chapter. Just one thing though, Wufei says '"He's a slave. Your property. He doesn't have a choice, much like a minor child. You make the decisions and he obeys." in this chapter, when before he said that he wouldn't operate unless Duo gave him the go'head, since it was his life they were risking. Now I thought that it was a little confusing unless Wufei said that because he had become attached to Duo and didn't want to see him die or suffer anymore from the pain and so he changed his view on things and put the decision in Heero's hand since he knows that Heero would say yes if it made Duo better. But that's a long shot and I maybe reading into it too much. Update soon!

** this good, a few spelling errors but not all that noticeable. Had they every considered that the tongue ring maybe spelled/cursed so he couldn't speak..hence holding his tongue? Keep it coming.

woohoo! an update! duo sounds like he is in a healthier mindset and is getting stronger by the day. i wonder who has been taking his work? and what exercises does he do everyday? well, hopefully you'll be able to explain it in the near future. update again soon!
