I hope somehow you see this and continue to write. This story was amazing to say the least. I thrived off the dark and depressing aura this story evoked. I was never a fan of the Zarbon/Vegeta love tie, however you brought it to life in a way i could never imagine. The love shared between them, I love the way you wrote with such passion. You made everything believable. Although the story kind of slowed for me after Vegeta met Bulma it was still fantastic, and in my honest opinion the best story ive ever read. Please continue |

Please Please Please finish this fanfic. I was hooked after a few chapters and I read all the way to chap. 36 thinking that was the end but it wasnt. The thing I like most is that in most fanfics, we know that Vegeta has his share of problems and was tortured at the hands of Frieza, but in your story we really get to see what happened to Vegeta and what made him the way he is. You gave Vegeta a story and it made him much more real. I love the story please finish it :)

WOW your back! I remember starting to read this years ago, and I only got a few chapters in. As soon as I started to read it, I was pulled back in. After 5 chapters I was totally addicted! to the point of me considering which was best? - Sleep or the next chapter! I would even scout around at work to see where I could get an internet connection to read the next chapter. lol Please please keep going! don't leave it as long as last time! I'm a major fan of B/V, and although I've never read a fiction with Vegeta portrayed like this, I love it! I don't find him at all out of character. Theres so much depth to this story! I love that your able to write such emotion into the characters and situations. I actually cried at some parts! Please dont keep me waiting for too long for the next chapter! :D XXX

I'm probably going to sound a tad like an obsessed crazy fan, but I don't care. It's funny how six hours can change a person's entire life, because I found your story at 7 pm last night and I didn't stop reading until nearly 4 am this morning even with everything looming in front of me today. You've given me back the first 18 years of my life and the funny part is you did it with a fanfic that should mean nothing to me. I don't think I'll ever look back and think of that part of my life as diseased. My heart will continue to beat and every minute that I live will be one step farther away from that past. In a twisted and very morbid and very real way you have given me my life back and for this you have my eternal gratitude. Thank you.

i love it. funnily, the first impression of i got of your story was that of interview with the vampire...the whole, how shall we begin type thing..lol always been a fan of anne rice, nice to see her style of writing elsewhere. the story has so much passion in it...so detailed that for someparts i wanna cringe (that's good btw), like the torture scenes... your story also reminded me of wuthering heights (you probably read this, but if you haven't, you should), transcending love and hate etc. all in all, your story's brilliant

Dear Camaro, thank you thank you for updating. I am in a smoky internet cafe in Shanghai right now and the first thing I did after seeing the update email in my inbox was read these chapters. The love story has me wrapped around it like a vine on a tree. I love how human both B and V are in their stubbornness and refusal to back down, drop their acts of strength. But the last part of 34 was so heartwarming. I can't wait to read more, to see how both of them are changed by each other.

Hey Camaro, I'm actually leaving for the airport to go to China in half an hour but I had to read this before I left. Never expected Goku to show up and feature prominently in this story. But I guess there were hints at his presence when he showed up around Tazial. This is far from just a love story...it is really a life story with all the complexities, disasters, and joys of life. I look forward to reading more.

Ok, I'm only up to chaper 6(and forsaking my college papers due in a few days for this!)but, I love this story! I must say that although I don't write professionally I am a good writer and I can appreciate a great story. I just happened upon this story accidentally and I really enjoy the perspectives you're using, as well as the side story (that I'm dying to get to). My only gripe besides a few grammatical errors is that you delete flame reviews! I keep reading your posts at the end of the chapters and don't know what they're responding to. I really enjoy hearing ignorant people (and flaming them back!)who have nothing better to do than flame a talented writer and you're ruining my extracurricular fun!!! Anyway regardless of what anyone says take the constructive and drop the destructive that's what makes a true writer. Can't wait to get to the end of this story, so far I'm impressed enough to fail my course! By the way the true ID's Hunny, not afraid of e-mail spam I'm just more of a Fuzzy Toad today, you know Vodka and all!

The part that struck me most about this chapter was not that Bulma waited for Vegeta or that he went out into space again and purged planets again, but that he respects Yamcha. I guess I never imagined that Vegeta would ever accord such respect to his rival, especially someone who killed himself after losing his cat. Bulma thinks he's a good man--I think that now it shows something about him that's good. I am glad to see that part of him, literally standing up for a man who was his enemy and acknowledging that Yamcha was a good person who could have been a better husband to the woman they both loved. Vegeta and humility don't go together often. But you made them go together well.

I knew this was coming. An angst-ridden chapter where one of them has to bring up the topic of their mutual attraction seriously. Of course I was on edge by the end of the chapter. Knowing how the story turned out doesn't change how one feels when reading about how the ending came about eventually. Right at the beginning when you say that Vegeta was accustomed to using people as conveniences...that reminded me of a message I heard at a winter retreat for church. The speaker asked us what the opposite of love was. Of course there are several answers--hate, indifference, etc. But she said something that made us all think. "Use" is another antonym for love (the verb). To use someone is not to love them...and I'm glad to see a kind of acknowledgement of that in your story.
