But the one thing that really bugs me is how out of character you have so many of them. I understand Kagome and Inuyasha, but you keep portraying Sesshomaru way out of context
| Reviewed By: GrayPheonix [MediaMiner Member] On: May 05, 2006 02:13 EDT Comment/Review: While not perfect (repeated explanations in later chapters ebing the only part I dislike), it is probably one of the better Inuyasha fanfics, and if not the best, then one of the best for the most recent Inuyasha entries. The start of the storyline is incredibly intense, and while the storyline wraps up the way it has to, it is incredibly ingaging and well designed as well. While I think that Shippo and Jaken are out of character (I consider that they both grew throughout the series) the ideas you created were unique, and well crafted, a fact I enjoyed since the fic truly expresses a deep understanding and study of the characters. WHile necessary for the story, though, I think Kikyo was made too cold, though it was the only way for the story to move foward. Anyway, this is an excellent story, keep up the good work!!

I usually know if I want to continue reading a story after the first 2 sentences. As for your story I couldn't stop until I finished reading the entire story in one sitting. Very well written. Never a moment of boredom. I truly enjoyed the connection you built between Inuyasha and Kagome. Very romantic. A lot of your connections even seemed as if they could be incorporated in the manga/anime. I look forward to reading your sequel.

It is a great story I am glad they got things worked out. I think maybe if you do a sequel or something maybe Shippou should be a rosary of his own from Kagome if he doesn't start behaving himself. I loved how Sessy gave him a "spanking" that was no less then what Shippou deserved. Thx so much for writing this wonderful story and I look forward to reading more of your work.

I'm honoured Goddess, thank you again. Oh.. for the whip flaying..I got the idea from a mix of seeing someone get whipped as punishment and of Sesshoumaru using his poison whip after watching the episode of where Inuyasha got his sword and I thought..hmm..if Sesshoumaru can whip his brother when he was ticked...I wonder what would happen if Sesshoumaru...and Shippo...then said ohhh Yeah..that works..I had a nice image of Shippo bent over Sesshoumaru's knee getting flayed but the way you wrote it was sooo much better!!It was so Inuyasha and at the same time almost like bugs bunny..(Wil E Coyote getting blasted). And if it is the same as another... wow.. coincidences can be real spooky..I must say I love it.. Can't wait to see more from you. You are a super no, exquiste.. I liked how you ahd captured Kikyo in this story. How she consumed by the hatred. Poor Kikyo. She even williful killed a monk who was trying to help her-free her from her imprisionment and she wasn't at all remorseful about it. Only remorse she had was the little girl saw the whole thing. Heck.. there isn't enough words to be able to decsribe you talents with writings. And a sequel. Too awesome.. I can't wait to see.. Will you be approaching the subject of baka koga the incredibly dense one? I love to see that interaction. Will the subject of the souls that Kikyo consumes and stops from going onto to their next life come up? I suspect that the future will be greatly affected and changed by Kikyo hording the women's souls.. How many doctors, teachers, scientists, good people, miracle workers, emergency people and people who make an important difference has Kikyo stopped from being born? Would they just disappear from existance? I don't think any writer has approached that subject yet. isn't against some buddist belief and other religious beliefs that she is crossing by her actions? And again a great chapter 6 and excellent ending chapter 7. I loved how Shippo will be left behind and is wondering how will he turn this into Inuyasha's fault and have it blow up in his face. He needs a healthy serving of humble pie and a meal of thanks giving. Oh dear. I have gotten myself hungry now. sigh. Have you thought about doing another song fic? Again I cannot express my joy in reading your stories and having the opportunity to express my joy and gratitude at reading these treasures. Ihave often thought about the way Rin is with Sesshoumaru. Her undying trust and love for the cold demon. You could almost see the hinting of Kagome's heart in her. Could she also be a reincarntion of the same soul as Kagome but in another stage of learning and growth before going onto Kagome? Eeep. Enough Rambling. Wonders if these thoughts will offer up ideas. Please keep up the most wonderfully and magical work!

I just spent the entire afternoon reading your story and really enjoyed it. Your character development of Kagome, Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru shows a real grasp of their characters. I'm in agreement with other readers who would like to see a sequel and what you can do with Miroku, Sango and Shippo. With all that happened in this story, the dynamics of the pack are sure to change. It would be interesting. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your next story.

| Title: A fun read Reviewed By: FarAwayEyes [MediaMiner Member] On: March 11, 2006 13:28 EST Rating(s):Style of Writing: 10 of 10 Spelling & Grammar: 9 of 10 Originality/Creativity: 10 of 10 Enjoyment Factor: 10 of 10 Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: I read the whole story in one night, and it was a lot of fun to read. It has an original plot, I can't say I've seen anyone seal Inuyasha in a cave that way before, not with a priest's sutra. It was nice to see that aspect, because it made you feel the things both Inuyasha and Kagome endured during the ordeal. It also showed how Kikyo can be cruel and uncaring, without, I think, making her into the cliche "bitch" of the fic. That was refreshing. I felt so sorry for Inuyasha being treated that way by those villagers, but go Sesshomaru! And disciplining Shippo, pure genius. I thought that was one of the best parts. He most certainly deserved it for his bad behavior. How can he be so condescending towards Inuyasha for "hurting" Kagome when he almost let them die is beyond me. He's gotta learn that he's in a pack and that just because Kagome and Inuyasha love each other, doesn't mean that they'll get rid of him. Sheesh. I just wish that Miroku and Sango had listened to Kagome a lot sooner, although Inuyasha is right, they might not have gotten to have their much needed time if they had. I would have hoped they would show more concern for their friends, that's all. I'm glad they were quick to apologize and acknoledge they were wrong. As for Kikyo, her behavior was just uncalled for. She just can't admit that she can't claim Inuyasha any longer, and that hurts. Quite frankly, as far as I'm concerned, Kikyo never really had Inuyasha's heart. He confused infatuation with true love where it concerns Kikyo. He then survived when she did not, so he has severe "survivor's guilt." It's good to see him get past that. Kaede was the most observant of the group! She knows Sesshomaru is lying through his teeth where it concernes his brother. Way to go! She's not fooled by him at all. He's not that great of a liar, besides. And I'm glad she was willing to confront everyone about what happened, especially Shippo. Rin was adorable in this story, too. Shippo thought so, too, but if he thought he got spanked for not telling anyone about what happened to Inuyasha and Kagome, boy would he get a lot worse for touching Rin! I kept yelling at Shippo not to do it, don't even think about it, Sesshomaru will find out and you'll be terribly sorry! I just thought it was funny how she was super behaved as always(I can't imagine her being any other way, not with a strict Demon Lord guarding her), and they had to keep telling Shippo to act more like her. That was just funny. That and I loved how she grew attached to Kirara very quickly. That's just adorable. I hope you will write a sequel to this story. I'd be curious to see how everyone has to react to the newly mated couple, and how those traits they're getting from one another manifest themselves in both Kagome and Inuyasha. It'd be neat to see, to say the least. I'd also love to see how Sesshomaru approaches things after this. Will he continue traveling alone, or will he join their group off and on and pursue Naraku with them? It'd be interesting to see what he does with this. It's obvious that he no longer desires his brother's death or Tetsusaiga. I'd love to see what you do with him after he's helped them. Just let me know when you post a sequel, if you do! And again, thanks for supporting my story and nominating it for the Feudal Association. It means a lot to me! Far Away Eyes
