Really good story so far. I've been reading all your work (It's taken like three weeks!), and I just wanted to tell you that you do fantastic characterization of Inuyasha, Kagome, and Sesshoumaru. I am most definitely looking forward to more chapters in this and future stories. Way to go, and keep up the good work!

you have returned (your minion bows to your literary greatness)! i was so in need of another story to read with romance, drama, action,...everything you put into yours. Inuyasha has been left abandoned yet again by people that he thought that he could trust and with Naraku still alive and shards to collect this could be a dangerous weakness. I've yet to read a story that not only develops a relationship between Inu and Kags but also looks at the differing relationship the two of them have with their friends. While they claim to love and trust and want to protect Kagome they don't want to listen to her when she feels the strongest about someone they disagree with. They seem like her friends in the modern era who are always trying to do what is best for Kagome without listening to what Kagome actually wants. And it's always nice to have Sesshy on Inu's side, he has a lot of unresolved issues to work through and it gives his ccharacter depth to try and work through them rather than being cold hearted all the time. A great start...I shall be stalking you once again.

even though this story is not finished yet i already can tell this will be a great story. i hav read both of your other stories too so i no not to be disappointed. i also like the way you make sesshomaru look more like a brother to inuyasha in your stories. you will be a great writer one day i am sure of that.

yeah...another story...i love it so far, i just cant believe Miroku, Sango & Shippo would just give up on him like that...i would asume they would at 'least' go to look for him...i cant wait to see what kagome says to them when she and InuYasha get back...that is if she is willing to even speek to them...i know i might not want to...great story so far cant wait to read next chapter ^.^

Oh my word!!! The Literary Goddess has returned!!You have manage to do it again!! Another brillant story!! This is great!! And the characters are all dead on! I liked the limey scene!! It was cute and funny when they both realized it was for real adn yes their hands are in certain areas!! I could imagine the blushes! I enjoy how you have Sesshoumaru! That would be so like him. I can't wait to see Kagome give Kikyou a verbal bashing for what she allowed to happen to Inuyasha!! And Koga!! Can't wait!! You are so brillant!! I was supposed to leave for work a few minutes before I found your story.. Well let's just say I eagerly called in to say I would be a little late!! LOL!! (found out to my pleasure my shift started later) WOW!!WOW!!This is positively great!! and Super!! Beautiful!! Poor Inuyasha. Kikyou has done it to him again. His very worst fear-being alone, dying alone- she knew it and did nothing except to basically tell him you are a tick to me. Poor Inu! Another betrayal from her. YEAH WOW ANother awsome chapter, I loved the fact that it seems like Sesshomarou and Inuaysha are getting along now, ^_^ Hmmm I wonder what Sesshomaru though while watching Inuyahsa and kagome under the blanket...creepy, anyway nice job on this chapter I loved it, up-date asap!!!

A very promising start, I didn't think it would top the beginning of Blood & Tears, but it did. As bad as I imagine being gang-raped by a bunch of wolves would be, the thought of being paralyzed, lying in your own bodily wastes, and hidden in a cave with no hope of seeing the sun while you die seems worse to me (probably because I'm a guy, and death by cave happens less than Kagome gets raped). I can't imagine how bad it would be for someone who like Inuyasha, isn't used to being completely helpless. I can see him being claustrophobic (like Amelia Sachs in the Lincoln Rhyme books; when you move they can't get you) and a death like that would have been like being buried alive, except slower. And his friends, harsh much? It kind of reminded me of the last few episodes of Buffy where it seemed like her friends hated her and they kicked her out of the house (for me, everything comes back to Joss Whedon. I don't know why). I know he's a big boy and can take care of himself, but he was gone for almost a week and it never occured to them that something was wrong? Do they think so little of him that they believe he would abandon them without a word? Even when faced with the possibility that he's injured, they brush it off with a 'hey what can we do about it?' Even if they couldn't do anything, he might have appreciated not being totally alone while dying! If it were up to them he would've died an agonizing death; completely alone and with nobody ever finding out what happened to him. The guy who would willingly get impaled to save them all would've went out a complete non-entity because they couldn't be bothered to look for him. And Kikyo: ice queen. And I mean that in a good way. And this is the second time you've started a story with Sesshoumaru riding in to save the day, is Inuyasha ever going to dramatically return the favour? Actually, this brings me to one of the few complaints I had about both your stories: you make Sesshoumaru too nice for my taste. There's nothing wrong with making him a full-fledged white hat, he was likeable enough in your other stories; he was just kind of bland. It is possible for villains to turn good and still be just as interesting, like Xanatos (from Gargoyles, pre-Goliath Chronicles), or Spike (from Buffy). He shouldn't be the same utter bastard, just without the homicidal tendancies (like in Sueric's fics) but he shouldn't be scary-nice and lose his edge, (like your other two fics) that's pretty much his appeal. I can't wait for Inuyasha and Kagome's return to the group though. I'm hoping for some world-class reamings, because it's obvious at this stage of your story that they don't respect Inuyasha or what he does. I'm not saying he should hate them, but an 'I'm sorry' shouldn't cut it. Their indifference almost resulted in a horrible and humiliating death. He's pretty forgiving if you think about it, (ie, he forgave Sango when she tried to kill him and when she stole Tetsusaiga (sp?) and gave it to Naraku. He even stopped Kohaku from getting killed after Kohaku tried to kill Kagome) so it wouldn't be a permanent grudge; just don't resolve it in one chapter is all I'm asking. There's something wrong with his group when he's saved by his brother who wants him dead and seems to enjoy torturing him (the unmother was pretty genius, and taunting him about never meeting daddy in the third movie); while his supposed friends sit back and curse him out for being selfish, stupid, and having commitment issues because he's not over the recent (for him) death of his fiance. She may have come back wrong, but if the Kikyou walking around retains her thoughts, memories, and emotions, is she really, most sincerely dead? Sango, especially, has no place to talk as long as she doesn't let Kohaku go. And now you're getting the rants I usually give to the TV, because you write so close to the show. Only Kagome would have escaped my ire, and that's pretty rare in fanfiction.

I really like the fact that you have blazed a new path and really portrayed Sango, Miroku, and Shippo as they are in the series. I've seen all the episodes made, and for the most part, Inuyasha does not receive the support from his "friends" as one would expect. Not many authors explore the reality that he is not completely accepted by his own "pack," and despite her exclamations or love, Kagome is sometimes guilty of not accepting Inuyasha as well. I appreciate the fact that you have her gaining an awareness of her own role in mistreating him and hopefully they will be able to grow together throughout the fic. Good job, I relly enjoy the story and please update soon!!! I do have one request, I was a faithful reader of Blood & Tears, but I really was uncomfortable with the sharing of Kagome in the beginning. Not really because of the sexual implications, but because Yash had to share the only person he could claim as his own, and his inability to protect her really encouraged the idea that he would never be enough. I know Sesshy is looking in (the hentai) and I don't know what his role will be, but I really would enjoy a fic with just Yash and Kagome being together, growing, and being enough for each other on their own.
