i really don't know what to write... i guess i could say that this is a awesome fic... very deep and emotional, and very complex... it's one of those story that forces you to think outside the box alot of the time.. makes you think alot basically (does that make sense??)which is a good thing, you don't get mcuh fics like this. great job and i hope you update soon

Yeah, so anyway you know I'm just in love with this story as well as your other work. I just thought I'd pop in and exclaim my excitement over the events of this last chapter beginning to unravel the other Goku and all. And how lucky for him to find that Journal! The only thing that has me stumped is how would Dende be around if there was no Frieza saga? Well I'm assuming there wasn't or Kakarot would be able to go SSJ and Krillian would be dead...Which makes Piccolo and the Dragonballs a real mystery? It’s eating me live here. I just wish one of Kakarots friends would have checked up on him and helped them get to the emergency room or something...And It's almost as if the way he was longing for "someone" (aka. Vegeta) implies that Goku timeline is the correct one, not just a timeline where things were slightly different resulting in no Vegeta… Some thoughts helping you get inside the mind of the reader… Until then I look forward to the next installment with much delight! OMG. I cannot believe this. First, how did I miss TWO updates? This story is just so un-freakin-believable in how dark and morbid, yet deep and touching all at the same time. I really stink at writing reviews, but I want you to know how truly awesome this story is. Here I though I felt bad for Goku when Vegeta broke his heart, but this last chapter...oh man...I just felt so quiet and pained for a moment...You have a real gift, kiddo. To make readers really, and I mean *really* feel how the characters do. I cannot wait for more, but take your time. This is just an awesome tale. And I was so ready to hate this Kakarot...now I just want to hug him...^-^

That was intense and sad and really really intense. It made me cry, I'm not sure if I can handle more. But I'll keeping reading. But what I really wonder is in this timeline was Vegeta never born or did he just die? I'd love to see a chapter on that. You know how I love when you write from Vegeta's point of view! Hahaha!

I like the development of the philosophical and political elements of this story. Your other stories seem to focus on psychological and religious themes a lot more heavily. Having read books like Animal Farm and 1984, and having parents who have lived under an oppressive regime that tried to dominate every aspect of life, I find this chapter especially interesting as you start to lay out the world the psycho Goku has created. The primary question is one of the nature of power, as I am reading Michel Foucault's Discipline and Punish right now and studying his redefinition of what power is. Is power really the ability to destroy and control other people and the world? To make the masses fear and worship you? Or is power simply the fact that we have free will, that someone as physically strong as Goku has many more choices than normal people, and that he could choose to live humbly and happily with his family in the woods, or he could choose to overturn the world order and set up a despotic regime? I'm interested by what you think about perfection and what is necessary for peace in the world. I'd like to see intense coverage of the philosophical issues raised by this new world. Thanks for an intriguing chapter.

*scratches head* I'm sure I didn't notice this had another 4 or 5 chapters until this afternoon. Anyway, I have enjoyed this so far in butt numbing reading session. You certainly portray the moods of the characters very well- particularly in the scene when Vegeta had tricked Goku. (I think that one probably shocked me too, because I totally didn't expect the scenario.) The build up to it was excellent- the way Vegeta drew Goku out of his shell as you will, and Vegeta's own confession fit in well with the events. (When reading, I thought the "I love you" thing was rather OOC, until Vegeta's confession, until it suddenly made sense.) Great descriptions, particularly on the more, hmm, violent scenes. Anyway, I like the set up to this so far, and I'm looking forwards to reading what you are going to do with this "alternate universe" of Goku's. His alternate self is already delightfully sadistic. (BTW, I think mediaminer has messed up the editing on your chapters 4-6, since the paragraphs are not spaced like in the first few chapters.)

Okay, I promised myself I would finish Monster before starting on another one of your fics. I'm such a LIER!! XD The imagery and how you've once again managed to keep everyone in character, grabbed me by the hair and pulled me in. And your theory as to why Chichi's so bitter rekindled the pity I had for her when I first watched the show. Well done Camaro, Well done ^ ^
