The word kitsune comes from two sounds in the Japanese language, kitsu, which is the sound of a fox yelp, and ne, a word signifying affectionate feeling. In ancient times, kitsu meant 'fox'. The word koumori means 'Ice Bat' in Japanese. Raiden means "lightning" in Japanese. I had googled raidin but it was spelled wrong. The term -ryu in Japanese comes from the Chinese character pronounced (in Japanese) ryu (or nagare, in an alternative reading). It means "to flow, flowing... system or school," according to my kanji character dictionary. In Japan, when -ryu is appended to a word as part of a school of art or martial arts, it signifies the particular system or style of the art. I had fun looking these words up and wanted to tell you that this fanfic is a great read. I was looking for something different to read and came across this nice gem. Your use of the 'Angel' as a crimefighter is very interesting and I like how your story just captured my attention from the get go. I have you listed in my favorites now and can't wait until the next chapter. Take care.

Raiden is Thunder god. But maybe you meant something else. Rai=lightning Den=thunder. Kitsune=fox, Ryu=Dragon and koumori=BAT. I HAVE A JAPANESE TO ENGLISH DICTIONARY ^.~

I can tell you what 3 are for sure: koumori is a bat, ryu is a dragon, and kitsune is a fox, but as for raidin, I dont know...if you mean raion, it's a lion.

I enjoyed that very much. I love the emotion behind Naomi, and Naraku, that ass! Very well written, and I'm just stuck on this now. I too, have a thing for angels, so I'm anxiously awaiting the next chapter. Just a great piece of fiction you've got here!! ^_^ More! More! More!
