This is one of the more extensive character studies of KK and I
enjoy reading through Shards of Me every once in awhile. I know it
has been years since you last updated this fic, as well as your
profile, but if there's a way that you can return to this and close
it off.. That would be wonderful. I hope you are doing well in your
life as well, I also appreciated your author notes. Your writing
shows that you read a lot of books that allow you to hone your own
writing style and develop the emotional complexities of the
characters.

Haha! The author returns! and has yet another wonderful couple of chapters for us.:D And yeah, I understand about the whole college taking away all of your time. I still have many more years to go :S But yes, very good chapters. Its really cool to go back and see how everything fits together. Great job.

I am in love with this fic, and the update was definitely worth the wait. Inspiration comes at odd times usually, and that's all you can count on. I'll be looking forward to that next update. Ooh, Tomoe was such a bitch. It really fit in this situation.

Wow. Simply amazing. captivating and beautifully said. I absolutely love what you have done with the characters and the story line. I've even printed it out so i could read it again and again. I know you want to take your time with this one, and i really think that that says how dedicated to writing well you are. This is amazing. And good job with the political analysis of current events, I'm glad that I'm not the only one with a sane mind :D The character developement is amazing. I honestly feel if you ever decided to change their names that you could publish this story professionally, I mean it is far enough off of the anime and the plot and developement is better than some published books I've read. Keep it up!

There's only 13 reviews for this story? Insanity! I love it, absolutely adore it. The voices of both Kenshin and Kaoru are so perfect and the descriptions are brilliantly done. I've just stumbled across this story, and crave more. Please continue when time allows you to, this is an absolutely fantastic story. =)

Wow! Two updates! How lucky are your readers! I was just getting ready to write you off as dead, and then you updated. I love the KK angst- it's actually making me a bit tearful! But I do hope you let them heal one another. I can't wait until the next chapter. Ciao!
