This is amazing. And good job with the political analysis of current events, I'm glad that I'm not the only one with a sane mind :D The character developement is amazing. I honestly feel if you ever decided to change their names that you could publish this story professionally, I mean it is far enough off of the anime and the plot and developement is better than some published books I've read. Keep it up!

There's only 13 reviews for this story? Insanity! I love it, absolutely adore it. The voices of both Kenshin and Kaoru are so perfect and the descriptions are brilliantly done. I've just stumbled across this story, and crave more. Please continue when time allows you to, this is an absolutely fantastic story. =)

Wow, i've seen this being updated but i have this really bad thing of not reading a story until its established itself with a few chapters, so i thought ok i'll read this now, and i must say it so well written with such a captive story line that i wish i'd started it earlier. I'm hooked i can't wait for the next chapter you come up with, very well done!!!

Wow, the second to last chapter was heart breaking. I feel so bad for Kaoru. It seems like he had always been pushing her away. The heart can only take so much. Kenshin is going to realize it too late.

wow. i loved this story. the plot is simply brilliant, and the storyline is EXTREMELY captivating. i love how you convey all of their emotions, especially the confusion that they have toward each other. i find this story simple irresistable; i look forward to reading the rest.

I think I'm really going to enjoy these interludes. Seems like a nice way to integrate history into the story without going on boring, unrealistic dialogues or something. I thought there first meeting was quite sweet, leave it to Kenshin to save someone in need. Nice chappie, thanks!

This fiction is so awesome. It makes me cry when I read (no mean feat I assure). I wish you would post it on FF.net...I think you'd get more reviews that way. More reviews=gratification for you. Oh well, until next time! Poor Kaoru and Kenshin...people just love messing with them, don't they?

Wow, powerful chapter. I know he think he is doing what he is doing for the best but he is being a real shit by going hot and cold on her. She was hurt too. If only they could actually talk about it instead of just wondering and coming up with poor excuses. I liked the chappie bunches and I await your next update!

Sheesh, where are all the reviews for this fic?! I think it is absolutely fantastic. You write with so much emotion, they both seemed so raw and exposed. I don't know who I felt worse for. I thought it was so endearing when he felt his love rising just to seeing her all bundled up in the blankets, so sweet. That kiss was beautiful too. It seems like a great deal was said. I absolutely love your writing and I really hope that you continue this fic. I think you have a potentially powerful storyline. I'm really excited about this story and I can't wait until you update!
