I was wondering, because she's a hanyou, shouldn't being purified not kill her, just turn her into her human form like the barrier around Mt. Hakurei did to InuYasha? Also, didn't you at one point in one of the other purity stories mention that because of Kagome's blood they wouldn't go into the rage giving into their youkai blood? Just a little curious.

Great chapter, I was desperately hoping Samantha would get away. Or at least do just a bit more damage to that heartless guard. If her captures saw her as more of a person than as an it, they would realize her compassion. Each time she escaped Samantha could have killed any one of the guards, but didn't. Hey are you keeping up with the manga. Hmm...could her not feeling alone be a starting of the youkai bond??? So, I take it that her youkai got the better of her when she got shot? Not surprising really, and I understand where she was coming from with not wanting to harm humans, but in her case, some of those humans need to be harmed!

OMG! Another one! Yay! Poor Sam. Her instincts kicked in and she didn't want she never wanted to do. I hope she tries to talk to Kurt in the next chapter. And poor Cain and Belle. They both feel so helpless. I couldn't imagine. I'm so glad you like happy endings, or I would be going crazy with worry.

1 more thing...kagome should definitely make an appearance and show kurt a thing or two about spiritual powers...black hair and violet eyes....Mirokus descendant no doubt...I luv it! That's the way Keep it linked with the original sengoku jidai group. :-D
