OMG I am SO GLAD YOU'RE BACK! My beginning of the week was just not the same without opening my e-mail and seeing the auto-notifications about my fave story! Okay, awesome chapter (as always), can't wait for the next one. Kurt's getting her out of there! AT LAST! I need the next chappie ASAP! Oh, BTW, how's you're mother-in-law doing?

kurt's been pretty dense, after deciding to free sam, why has he not taken the precaution of removing the ofudas that limit her ability to break free of her restraints when necessary. hopefully his medical background will provided him the means to stabilized sam as he promptly contacts her family at the hotel for help without further delay I don't see how the story won't end with a lot of "scientists?" from all the different facilities and their sponsors being killed as it is the only way to keep the youkai existence a secret.

I'm with Kurt, I want to know what they did to her! Well, we know they cut her, but was that all they did? I hope that he just senses her diminished aura because she's human, I really hope she isn't dying! My prayers out to you and your family, Sue! I hope your mother-in-law gets better soon!

Hmmmmm...Kurt coud not 'feel' what was going on as Sami's youkai diminishes during the day before her night of 'weakness', right? DAMN! What did the bastards do? Had to have injected her with something she knew she could not fight as a human. Did she slit her arm to try to bleed out the bad? Knew by the title of the chapter it would not be good. I hope you mother-in-law gets well soon!

Wow. What a cliff-hanger. At first I was really confused. When I read the title of the latest chapter, I knew I should be worried. "Horrified?" Oh dear.....BUT, what a development in the story. What could the white-coats have done to Sam to actually make her speak? BEG?! O M G. What's worse, whatever they did, even if it's a "normal" testing, it could possibly kill her since she's human now. Oh dear. Me so worried. >.< (By the by, wising your mother-in-law a full and fast recovery.)Thanks, Sue, for another amazing, though cliff-hanger, chapter!

I am an avid reader of your series, thanks for the interesting stories you lead us all along until the very end. The slow chemistry that has developed between Sam and Kurt is amazing i for myself sit and wait for the next chapter because I am on an extended sick leave. The frustration Belle and Kich are living is so real so palpable that gets to me sometimes. Will Kurt and Sam be able to be together? what did the white-coats inject Sam with, and what happened to her arm? Is she suffering excessive blood loss? or did they inject a new strain of virus? So Kurt found out she is half human, interesting, what comes now?

He finally gets it, that being half-demon also means being half-human. The one night that she would be able to actually kill herself, she took the chance. I hope that Kurt takes this chance to sneak her out, saying that she's a lab assistant that wanted to commit suicide and that he's taking her to the hospital. Well, at least she knew how to slash correctly, so it was a deliberate attempt instead of a 'look at me, I'm emo' attempt. Keep up the good work, dark

That late in the afternoon Sam's youkai had to already be diminished. No matter what they did to her she wouldn't have been able to recover before she turned human, but it was awful hearing her beg. And poor Kurt. I don't know what will happen to him if someone else he loves dies because of something he'll blame himself for. It seems his spiritual powers have been a curse to him all his life. It would be nice if he was able to use them for healing. Belle and Kichiro's confrontation was heartbreaking, but I thought Belle would break down eventually. She's just tried too hard to hold herself and others together. Fortunately Kichiro was there for her even though he's hurting too. Great chapter.
