One word kept popping into my mind while reading this chapter: WOW! It was so intense that I HAD to write to you to let you know how amazing this was!! The pure raw emotions experienced by everyone were transfered by your words and felt as if I was there, feeling each and every one of them!! I have no words to express how truly grateful I am for your amazing gift!! Your writing is something that I look forward every day and I cherish so very much! This began so dark and is becoming somethig deep and full of so many things that make my heart feel like it's riding a rollercoaster! You really are amazing!! I can hardly wait to read what happens next!! Thank you again for sharing your writing with us!! You bring so much joy to others I feel so in debt to you!!

Wow. Just one conversation and now Sam knows what happened to make Kurt the way he is and Kurt is questioning everything he thought he knew and believed his whole life. Great chapter.

OMG, my suspicions were made real...okay, Harlan really IS trying to "superior breeding machine" on us. Yes, my face DID fall on the floor! And the Kich breakdown...took 2 years off my life, Sue...LITERALLY had to go blow my nose! On a lighter note, OMG, Kurt! He called her flat chested...I LMFAO, really, I did. Looks like Kurt's a little sensitive about his age...ahh, male ego at it's worst. Tee hee. So this chapter was angst, comedy, and hope...LOVED it!

These lines SCREAM priceless: "Seriously . . . you don't have a girlfriend, do you?" He stared her for a moment, violet eyes oddly bright, and he shrugged. "Of course I do. Ten of them. They're all mute with gargantuan breasts, and they love me and want to bear my children." (Can we say Miroku?) **STILL chuckling off that** But, oooh, when she told him she was a hunter...I just KNEW he was gonna blow up. Too much to chew on, I'd imagine... **le sigh** OMG, I learned a new fact that'll forever make me look at seafood differently, now... **gets a bucket** And I love the teasing...love handles...funny. (See, I'm catching up! So, Have mercy, Sue...don't make 'em blame me! ROFL!)

Oh crap...I'm all tears and snot! That was just...wow! I can't believe that Kurt never thought of her having a family of her own. And the whole 'I'm not a baby' thing really did me in. And poor Gunnar. I was wondering who was going to say something. It just had to be sensible Gunnar. Please tell me happy stuff is going to come soon!

;) Ok, so I've loggin (Bwahahaha)! But I'm more for the forum :p What's got to me in this chapter is the links to Miroku's past. The earings are the first, the nightmare where the surrondings are kind of softer than rock brings to mind Mont Hakurei(sp?) where Naraku transform last in the anime or even in the last episodes inside the rock demon. So is he a descendant or reincarnation??? hummm

Okay, I'm all FOR Sam loping off a dire piece of that scum doctor's anatomy! That was just sick and unprofessional and WRONG! No wonder KURT of all people was utterly disgusted. It's like they're trying to break her in every physical and mental way possible! If it were ME, I'da BROKE by now. Sam is so hardcore! But, even with the light banter and between her and Kurt, it's not nearly enough to fill in the gaps. Poor Sam. Somebody hold me... **runs off to add a new entry to the white coats post**

Very sad chapter but so well written. You could actually feel the atmosphere at the party. It had to have been hard for Ryomaru and Kichiro to walk into that after being out there searching for Sam. And poor Kurt, having that same nightmare for 5 days in a row. It's hard to imagine what he has to put himself through mentally just to keep himself from going insane.

The more I read the more lost for words I get. I mean...OMG...they stuck probes in her... **shudders** I DETEST the white coats! You hear me, Sue? DE-TEST! Harlan kinda scares me. OMG, Old Granger's kinda bent. I did get a good little laugh there (and NEEDED it, by then...) And, awwwwah, Kurt's warming up to Sam so nicely, albeit slowly. One good reason to dab my eyes and smile a while. Good readin'!

*sigh* Media Miner just doesn't want me to review lately. Kurt's nightmares are so vivid and frightening. It must be horrible living with so much pain and guilt. Once more it would seem Kurt is channeling Miroku: "two gold hoops dangling from his left earlobe". The whole chapter was so sad, especially watching such a strong supportive family falling apart. They really need something to give them hope again.

Harlan SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, had to get that out! In the pursuit of science, mere men can get one HELL of a God complex and this is just LUDICROUS what he has planned for Sam's blood! I shudder to think of it! This chapter gave a lot of background to the foreground and a good look into the physiological aspect of youkai and hanyous...great chapter, Sue! =^_-=
