Wow. This is a very powerful story. Bravo for having the courage to write such darkness. So often we want the happily ever after, which is why we all read fiction. Thank you for giving these characters a reality. I noticed that the last chapter was posted in August. I hope that the delay of posting the next chapter is because of the intricacies of up coming plot points. I'm itching to see what happens next. Please, don't leave me hanging....What happens?!

"And don't kill me for the cliffy!" You're so funny. That's one of your specialties. Heheheh Thanks for answering in this chapter, all those questions that kept swimming in my brain after that heartbreaking chapter. Uff. You're right about the inevitably repetitious feeling brought by when the last fight against Naraku is written here. But I see why you felt compelled to include it. I find it very interesting that there is a psychologist in the story. It is very risky considering that Kagome could be discovered. However, it is one great way to prepare Kagome for when Sesshomaru re-enters her life. That way her feelings are resolved by when that time comes. Honestly, the anticipation is crazy! I hate to put pressure on you. I'm sure that you are giving yourself enough pressure already. I can only recommend that you don't add or take away from what you had imagined. Be true to how you thought that it would happen and it will be perfect. No hurry, take your time...we all know that it will be wonderful. Here's to a continued recovery from your surgery. Best, QS

Hi, nice to hear about you again. As always, the chapter was great. I like the way you portrey Kagome, somewhat fragile: we all have problems, and not always we know how deal with them.I think it´s hard to believe that she would always be a strong and secure woman, after all, everyone has his bad days (although hers seem to be specially nasty). Looking forward for next chapter, and I hope you recover very well from your surgery. Good luck

wow, that was quite the twist, i wasn't expecting such a tragic turn out for Kagome. I had an inkling that Inuyasha wasn't going to make it to the end of this, but Kagome's whole loss was very unexpected. You wrote it quite well, I actually got a little foggy by the end of this chapter. Damn I love a good tragedy, it really makes you feel if it's written well enough and I love that.

Wah! You got me good girl. I totally did not expect this. It's been a long time since I started your story so I either forgot that it was a tragedy or I didn't notice. I had a knot on my throat during the read but the tears let out at the end when Souta got home and found Kagome in the state that she was. She underwent an expectant Mom's worst fear; this doubled with the loss of InuYasha. It's a very sad chappie. I do hope however, that you will consider elaborating some more about the following points. First, could you explain a bit more the connection of the Shikon No Tama's influence with this sudden turn of events? Especially, that voice; whose was it? Second, could you share a bit more about how Kagome digests the loss of Inu and Sango? This can be perceived with her re-living all that Inu did for her with the stairs and then the baby's room but I guess that those moments were written as a narration or after the fact. Perhaps I needed to hear her talk it out in a dialogue, even if it is her talking to herself. Basically, as a reader I feel that by 'listening' to her then it would help me heal along with her. I say this because this is a very saaaaad chapter. Waaaah! Last, this chapter was very well written although I wonder if you felt rushed while writing it. I totally understand if you were, especially with your impending and unexpected move. But as a fan, I am happy to give you as much time as you need so that you can continue to give us all the details that go through your mind about the events that you present. :-D Good luck with the move and enjoy writing the next chapter. BTW, during the move, don't forget to use your legs and keep good posture when you lift the boxes. Many thanks for the update and take care of you, QS

Sorry for not send a review sooner, but I had some pressing problems to deal with. Anyway, so much happenned in these last chapters: mainly the developmant of Kagome´s healing powers, the fact that Sesshoumaru simply can´t stay much time away from her, the way she was adapting to her life with Inuyasha, her pregnancy, his efforts to make her happy, the whole episode regarding Souta´s room to accomodate their baby and the tragic accident, it was beautifully done. What a tragedy indeed. In an instant she has lost everything and, in the end, she found out that all of that happenned because of a silly and unfounded argument. This can turn a person really crazy. But I have to tell you that I relly had a bad feeling about the way Inuyasha used the jewel. From the start, I thought that he had used it to his own purposes, it was never a selfish desire from him: in a way he used it to his own benefit (or so he thought). But it seems that the jewel has it´s own way to distort things, and in the end it only brought sadness and tragedy. What a trinket. It´s almost as if it was waiting the better oportunity to attack and make the utmost havoc. I thought that Inuyasha would die, but I never thought that it would be that tragic and that the jewel would drag Kagome along. Poor thing, she´s suffered so much, but I suppose that she ended up paying for her own passivity and resignation with the whole situation she was in. Everything has a price. But I can´t help but wonder... How strong could her healing powers be now? Would it be strong enough for her dream come true? Very good job and I´m dying to see what happens next. DivaG

I had the feeling that Inuyasha might die. But it was so heartbreakingly sad. I was crying so much. Why couldn't Inuyasha survive? Why couldn't he die before kagome was pregenant. Of course it wouldnt have made much of a story but still!!! I'm giving you a month to update!

I was going to wait until you had it entirely completed, but I couldn't resist reading your last chapter update. I kind of figured the only way to end Inuyasha was by some type of accident, however, I didn't think you would end the child's existence as well. Plus make it so she can't have children anymore. That was quite sad. I think you did a good job with how you handled the situation tho.

I have to say, that this chapter was a shock. There were no warnings in the summary that I could see and I typically won't read fics that have the deaths of any of the main Inuyasha characters because life sucks enough as it is and I read to wash that away. Give us a warning next time, ne?

The story is good, but I honestly don't see how you are going to turn this into a Sess/Kag fic without killing Inuyasha off. At this point, it would be extremely cruel to have her end it with him. When she had come to the realization in the previous chapter, you should have had her end it then. Now, she is pregnant and forgetting about Sesshomaru. It just seems you are digging a very deep hole. You are making it very difficult on yourself to turn the story around without it sounding contrived. I wish you luck and I am looking forward to seeing how you do it.

Gah! Kagome is pregnant with InuYasha's baby. I'm happy for them because although InuYasha is not the one for Kagome in this story...I like the guy. He is awesome. But, I'm sad because I wish it was Sesshomaru's baby. I kept hoping in my silly mind that it was really Sesshomaru's baby but it took this long for it to grow because of him being a demon and her a human. You know, that was my wishful thinking. But then I kept freaking out about how sad InuYasha would be if the baby came out with Sesshomaru's marks and then I was all happy/sad again. The things you make me go through girl! *sigh* I don't know how this will unravel but you got me hooked. Nevertheless, when Sesshomaru and Kagome do get together...please make it a looooong epilogue about them together. Pleeeeeaaaase!!! Although....it will be bitter sweet right? I feel for InuYasha...as I said before..I like the guy. Aaagghhhhh... Best, QS

Oops! Sorry forgot about this in my last review.. I would like to let you know that there is a mistake in chapter XV. A miko is from the shinto religion. So Kagome would follow shintoism not buddhism.

I'm glad that you updated finally!! I feel so sorry for all three of them. Feeling sorry for Sesshomaru for being stupid and too proud; Kagome for being stupid and making the wrong move and ended up being so unhappy for so long and finally Inuyasha for being used as a "crutch". I do admire Inuyasha too, for being so strong and caring and loving for Kagome even though he knows that she loves Sesshomaru and still thinks of him.

I started reading this story this year and I am thrilled that you continue to update it. I do look forward to Kagome and Sesshomaru getting together but does that really mean that when they do then the story would end? I would like to see what would their lives be like together afterwards. I understand however, if that is as far as inspiration goes then so be it. But if it could continue then count on me as an avid reader who would keep on waiting for every single word that you write about this story. :-D The way that you depicted when Kagome and Sesshomaru got together (from the beginning until they made love), was fodder for hours of daydreaming. *Drool* The concept of living for centuries was also inspiration for aspiring writers like myself. Thanks for writing this story and most of all for sharing it with us. Best, QS

I think you conveyed what needed to be conveyed quite nicely. The genesis of Sesshoumaru's emotional awakening, his thought process, and the reasons for his actions become crystal clear. As well, you did an excellent job of making Kagome's forgiveness of him believable. I'm looking forward to seeing how you manage to get the two of them back together again, though, with InuYasha in the middle. Surely it will go against Kagome's nature to ask for a divorce... but I'm sure, clever thing that you are, you have a plan for this, don't you? Thank you for a most enjoyable read this evening! It certainly took my mind off my own petty problems for a while and, for that, I can't thank you enough!! :D ~~Wiccan~~

Great chapter. I loved hearing your version on how Kagome´s family was formed and the reason why Sesshoumaru remained close to them. It seems to me that he really didn´t stay around them on purpose, waiting for the time that Kagome was born in the future, it just happened. I hope they meet soon. She is setling for a really dull life. Congratulations anduntil next time.

Hi,happy New Year. I´m loving the way this story is flowing, so full of emotions. It seems that from now on the story will be in moderm times. The three of them will have much to to rectify: Sesshoumaru, by allowing his pride to dictate his action until it was too late; Kagome, by allowing her selfshness to think of everybody else´s hapiness but hers and Inuyasha for persisting in something that clearly is an error. What a mess. This story is getting even better, and you are a very talented autor, writing a new chapter every week. You are spoiling me. Great work and until next time.

*whimper* Yes, I know there is a method to the madness. Yes, I understand that this is still a Kag/Sess fic. Still, the angst level has me cringing, even though I'm SURE you will - eventually? - make it okay. You will make it okay, won't you???? Never mind, it's been a miserable close to 2008, so I'm still pouting over that stuff and letting it affect my approach to other things. This story, even if things aren't as fluffy and sweet as *I'd* like them, is still powerful, well-written, and packed with twists and turns. I have no doubt that future Sesshoumaru has good reasons for letting this farce continue, and I can hardly wait to find out what they are. I was delighted to see (either in the last chapter or this one, can't remember which) that Kag's mom wanted to purify the heck out of the oh-so-silly demon lord... if I was her, I would too!!! Please do not be discouraged by the canon pairing 'shippers, nor by the 'slings and arrows' you must be receiving from other hardcore Kag/Sess 'shippers like myself. This story is shaping up to be an epic and, despite the tragic turns, I'm enjoying every minute of it! :D ~~Wiccan~~

wow that was an excellent chapter, so much detail and even though there was plenty of Inu/Kags interaction it was still very much a Sess/Kags story line. I completely understand the feelings that Kags has over being rejected, of wanting to move on and yet still being haunted by those feelings for Sess. Wonderful emotions and great detail in this chapter. I also appreciated how you cleared up the whole past Sess vs. future Sess thing so there isn't any of that confusing going back and forth anymore. :) I feel bad though that she can't go back to her friends though and it was unfair of Inuyasha to make that choice without consulting her first. He really is a dunderhead sometimes. I can't wait for Sess to come into the picture now after suffering without Kags for 500 years. Loving this story as usual and you are writing it exceptionally well!! And thanks for not making the lemony bits too much because I get upset just thinking of Inuyasha taking what is Sesshomaru's place in the sexy department. ;p Dying for another chapter, more if you please!
