Oh man you can't leave it there. I have to see what happens next. I usually don't do the darker fics to often but this is fabulous. The slow turn the growing darkness I love it. It's a gradual growth in her and she's taking everyone that she can so far it seems. Can't wait for the next update.

great update... so sango has confronted miroku... didn't turn out good as she hoped... but i think kagome's plan has begun... wonder when inuyasha or sango will tell kagome... how will that go?... things are getting more complicated... update when you can... please and thank you...

Wow, this is very dark and I don't read dark, but you've managed to not only hold my attention, but for the first time, I don't dread that character deaths could be a part of the ending. I don't read fics that are known to contain character deaths. Congratulations on a job well done. You've done an excellent job with all of the character depictions. Even Inuyasha's naivety of the consequences of his actions are believable. It is refreshing that, for once, Miroku is an innocent party. That was so sad. You had to taint him as well, though, in having him rape Sango. So now, they all have their sins. It is still sad that he has no one. Wow, Sesshoumaru is almost as dark as Naraku. An outsider would think that Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru deserve to die as evil demons for tainting pure human hearts. The portrayal of Kagome's descent into darkness is very believable. Great job. I can't find anything in your story that is unrealistic, unless I were to prefer pure canon, but this is beyond canon. And yet, you have managed to keep the characters IC. I'm impressed. I've seen you worry over the length of your chapters. There is enough meat in them that the length is inconsequential. It's the amount of progress that matters. A person can write 30 pages and make no progress. That is frustrating. There is only one thing that you won't like hearing. I read that you lost your beta. However, I'd like to ask that, if necessary, you take the extra time needed, even delay postings, to read over your chapter a couple more times. In this last chapter, there were many places with missing words and whatnot. It forced me to do quite a lot of re-reading. That dulls the impact of a story. I no longer have a beta, and with my seizures, I miss a lot, so I have to re-read until I'm sick of it. And there are still errors! I don't think there is anyone who can write a fault-free fic, but I do the best I can to make it readable. You shouldn't worry so much about the time between posts as about the quality of your work. I would happily wait longer so that the reading experience is higher quality. I'm sure that others feel the same. This is such a great fic that it deserves the extra attention. You have a talent. Let it shine. ^_^ As for the next chapter, I'm anxious to see what you plan to do with the battle. There are so many questions about the future that you could choose to reveal. There are so many things that could happen. So much suspense! Any direction that you choose to go with any one given character is already plausible. You've laid such a careful trap for the reader. Yes, you've masterfully woven your web and cocooned your readers. Anticipating the next chapter is sweet indeed. Good luck! ^_^ Snow

I really enjoy this story. I think that must make me an angsty, bitter person because at the moment this plot is all about revenge and bitterness. Although I (sheepishly) admit to crying on Miroku's behalf (awww, he's a victim here), I still thoroughly enjoy each installment. I look forward to the next one...(and may I put in my not so subtle plug here, although I am enjoying the angst a (big) part of me is hoping somehow that Sess and Kag will eventually end up together in a semi healthy way (e.g. he's not out to completely taint her). But it's your story so I guess I'll just have to wait to find out...)

Ack what a cliffhanger, quite a change from the last, relatively calm chapter. I am left wanting more, so much more, and you Must give it to me, me and everyone else who reads your story. If you dont we will all instantly fall over dead, and I know you dont want that to happen to your fans... do you? (looks left to right with a worried expression on his face) Um sorry to the rest of the fans if we all suddenly drop dead, my bad. But Im hoping she will update, so that we may all go on living. SO Update soon... please.

Very good very good, another very interesting a gripping chapter. Short perhaps but a nice lul in the story before we find out exactly what both kagome's and sess' plans are. And interesting way to start the chapter out, I was confused at first as to who was thinking. Perhaps we will be seeing more of Shippo and Kaede? Someone else for Kagome to trample over, or perhaps someone to lead her to the light once again? I cant wait to find out, and eagerly await the next chapter. Keep up the good work!
