I hope Kagome does find a way to extend her life to live as long as Inuyasha. He would have a hard time living without her. So both Kagome and Miroku both realize that Kagome is probably Miroku and Sango's descendant. I wonder what else she can find around the shrine that would tell her more about the lives of her friends. Part of me wants to see how this all works out but part of me doesn't want that to happen since it means the story will be over. Either way, keep it coming and I will keep reading and reviewing.

I am sure you have devised some nefarious plot in which they will help bring Inuyasha back to Kagome or will help Kagome bring Inuyasha back to her. I can't wait to see what it is. It was touching to see Kagome's grandfather go to all the trouble of doing such a serious search to help his granddaughter. He might not wholly approve of Inuyasha, since he is part youkai, but he cares enough about Kagome to put that aside and try to help her keep her lover. The suspense is building nicely and making the wait for updates agonizing. Good job.

Fast thinking for Inuyasha to come up with a reason that he knew about Sango and Miroku's son. Poor Shippo having to be the one to inform Kagome about Inuyasha's leaving and the pregnancy. Kagome took it better than I thought. She is still going to be mad at Inuyasha for leaving when he returns. Why do I feel like Inuyasha is never going to find the time to talk to Miroku? I think that everything is going to happen just as it was relayed to Inuyasha but he will survive. He has to, he has a child and mate to return to. I can't wait to see how you arrange Inuyasha's survival and what he finds in his reconnoiter around that he is currently doing.

Kagome is going to be so angry at Inuyasha when she realizes that he left without her. I know he will make it, he has so much to live for now. He has Kagome willing to be his wife, the child she is carrying, all his youkai in the New World and a better relationship to build with his brother. About the chapter, I liked how Inuyasha went with Kagome to meet her friends and then stuffed his face with hamburgers to keep from having to answer questions, too bad for Inuyasha they didn't go to a noodle stand where he could get Raman. The only thing missing was a run-in with Houjo. It almost seemed as if Kagome was saying goodbye to Tokyo with Inuyasha during their time together. Shippo is going to have his hands full keeping Kagome from following Inuyasha down the well. He might be able to with the news that she carries Inuyasha's child. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Title: Thanks! Reviewed By: Silly1 [MediaMiner Member] On: May 23, 2008 09:54 CDT Comment/Review: Kokoronagomu, thanks! My first present! I'm reading all these reviews avidly--they're so great! I know I don't interact too much--I'm shy?! But I appreciate the support from all my reviewers! It's getting down to the end--I wonder what's going to happen! Justkidding--I have some idea! I may have to eat a few rum balls for inspiration!

That was the "blessed event" that Ayume was referring to when she first greeted Kagome and Inuyasha. Obviously Kagome does not realize yet that she is pregnant and Inuyasha does, so when he is going to tell her? Is he going to wait until just before he gets ready to go back or is she going to find out before that? I can't wait to see how Inuyasha survives this.

Reviewed By: kokoronagomu [MediaMiner Member] On: May 14, 2008 17:12 CDT Comment/Review: ji'm assuming that she's pregnant, the youkai can smell it but yasha doesn't her to know although if she knew she would be less likely to take unnecessary chances. that's probably why he is determined to keep her in the present... this better not turn into a kag/sess, ginny would be very ticked. >=/ it's not a threat. . . i shall attempt to block out my fears and continue to broadcast my positive vibes. . . good to see shippo and i'm assuming yash acquired promises from their youkai friends that kagome and child will be taken care of if he doesn't make it back. . . you know how obsessive fans can get if we have become invested emotionally, you should take it as a compliment to your talent. ~ thank you, ginny

Reviewed By: psyco_chick32 [MediaMiner Member] On: May 13, 2008 23:19 CDT Comment/Review: I just don't really see Kagome letting InuYasha go without her, not without being ROYALLY pissed off. If he did die, it would just tear her up inside... and if he didn't die, and just lived for 500 years, he'd have all that time to change... Kagome'd still be pissed *nodsnods* I'm intrigued with where you're taking this, I can't wait for more!

It was good to see Shippo surviving and the decendents of the others. It shows that if something does happen to Inuyasha there will be others to care for Kagome and possibly any children that Inuyasha leaves behind. I am still hoping for a happy ending for Kagome and Inuyasha. It will be good to get more details from Shippo as to what happened in the past since Inuyasha and Kagome are both going to pump him for all that he can tell/remember. Looking forward, as always, to the next installment.
