Good chapter. I can't wait to see what little Kagome comes up with to get her father and big Kagome together. Inuyasha clearly still misses her, if the first word out of his mouth when the words "best friend" were mentioned was Kagome's last name.....even nearly ten years after he last saw or spoke to her. Both Inuyasha and his daughter are so SAD.....I really look forward to seeing all this work out. I can't wait for more!

great update... little kagome is so cute... glad that she asked help from izayoi & kaede... kaede would remember kagome higurashi from before... hope little kagome's birthday wish comes true... at least inuyasha still remembers his best friend kagome... wonder what plans little kagome will have... update when you can... please and thank you...

Nice update! I'm guessing big Kagome will be making her appearance in the next chapter or does little Kaggie still have some planning to do? Either way I can't wait to see what you do with this. And InuYasha so should have said 'sexy' in response to the word granny like Rahul did. But I liked the apple/orange thing too..that was cute. Till next chapter :) ~Amber.

I got curious about the movie this is based on so I went out and bought it...and WOW, I gotta say, 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' is great. I used to have this thing about foreign movies and musicals when I was little, I loved them..and this was comprised of both! So thanks for indirectly suggesting the movie to me. Also, I am so glad this story is not the movie verbatim. I can already see how you're deviating from it, especially since you covered half the movie in just the first four chapters. The characters and everything fit beautifully with the storyline and I can't wait to see what you do with it. :) ~Amber

*wipes eyes* the only other answer would have been polygamy and i think that is against the law in japan and most other industrialized nations, nor is it morally acceptable. it is interesting how one doesn't see the monster staring them in the eye, something so obvious, and who's to say she hasn't changed considerably after her heart had been unknowingly ripped out and stomped on by two people she believed to know her and care about her. one would think that at least since kikyo had realized that kagome loved yash and deep down she also knew he loved kagome she would have discouraged his interest before she fell for him... iknow, i have a rather cynical view of things but i would never have done it (my gf liked a guy who liked me and i pushed him away, neither of us ended up with him, we still have our friendship and both of us are happily married). i am enjoying this and eagerly anticipate more. ~ thank you, ginny

GREAT chapter. The flashbacks were really well-done and set-up the plot very well. I enjoyed the insight into all three of the characters. Kagome's situation was beyond painful. I can only imagine what that must be like. And I really like the role you made for Kikyo....even if she is doing it on paper from the grave. Too often, she's seen as this evil gargoyle who's out to steal Inuyasha from Kagome (and I'm gulity of seeing her that way myself sometimes since I'm staunchly Inu/Kag), but she is so much more than that. And presenting her this way allows you to see it. I can't wait to see what little Kagome plans to help her dad. This is going to be so good. It already is!

great update... quite sad how older kagome left... inuyasha was really clueless back then... wonder how young kagome will find kagome higurashi... will she ask for help?... but from who?... will she tell or show her father about the letter from kikyo and the task... things are getting interesting... where is the older kagome now... what happened to her... update when you can... please and thank you...

I love what you do with the characters! Their characterization is awesome. It'd be interesting to see how little Kagome plans on hooking up her father with big kaggie...but entrusting a duty like that to an eight year old? I would've thought a twelve year old or something would've been better but again...that just makes it all the more interesting. Can't wait to see what happens! ~Amber :)
