Oh man! How could I have missed this?! It's so well written and a wonderful story! I adored it! And the suspense... Yes! *dances happily* Such a great story! *sniffles* It was extremely interesting to see where you took it and how the fight between Sesshoumaru and Hiei was all in the little imiko's mind *giggles* And the reassurance that Kagome had to give him! So in character for Hiei *nods* Ah, great to see a wonderful story... But crappy that you missed the deadline *pats ur back* Loved it all the same, though! -Wolfie

It's a darn shame you just missed the deadline for the contest. This one was really good. I've been meaning to tell you how very much I enjoyed this story. The fight between the two of them was realistic, IMO. i.e. that Sesshoumaru =would= win in the end, but that Hiei would pull out all the stops and, in effect, make Sesshoumaru pay dearly for it. So he then proves himself worthy of Kagome. Really nice, especially the part that it was all in his mind. By that I don't mean Hiei imagined the fight and the struggle, but that it still was a struggle essentially between two minds. Hiei and the spirit of Sesshoumaru. Very creative.

That was fantastic! I love it! (Damn shame you didn't get it done in time for the contest.) The whole idea of Hiei needing to hear her say that and it being made possible through a midnight meeting with the late Sesshoumaru just has me in raptures. ^_^ I also like the idea that Hiei thinks Sesshoumaru's spirit has been weeding out the unworthy ones who would try to claim her. Very nice! Lots of good stuff in this one! A definite fave!

Wow! That first chapter was wonderful! So tense and suspenseful. I can't wait to see if we find out why Sesshoumaru was claiming Kagome. I loved Hiei's thoughts about her and about denying Sesshoumaru the chance to ever experience her love even if he managed to kill him. Great work!
