LOL, cute ending. I'm glad things have worked out. I know people are giving Miroku crap for ditching out right away, and it was a little tackless to rush out afraid of the diapers, LOL, but on the other hand if they do need more supplies than they thought they needed since they weren't prepared for twins then running out to do a job to make money would be what was needed in that time period. I'm sure Sango will begrudgingly forgive him when he shows up in a couple of days with a bundle of rice or two. :-) Nice job! |

so happy they're communicating now, and that miroku is willing to overlook and enforce a time out when things get heated. your depiction of inuyasha is wonderful... he seems guarded but hopeful and grateful that miroku took the extra time to reassure him. they know they're dealing with his insecurities and they don't mind-- that's family. *wipes eyes* ♥

it is so very difficult to change a pattern of behavior once it's been established-- being hormonal doesn't help. ♣ inuyasha was being honest about his feelings of jealousy, but it's more than that. sango and miroku are now his closest family-- how devastating that is when your family experiences discord-- and how he wishes he had what they/she seem to be throwing away, he realizes how priceless and valuable that is. ♥

Wasn't expecting that one... You'd think Sango would work a little harder on not driving him away again after barely getting him back. Isn't it too early in her pregnancy for her emotions to go completely haywire? Are the women of the village still talking smack, or is something else bothering her now? I wonder what the fight was even about... I love Inuyasha's little speech, though. I'm really enjoying this series, so far, and can't wait to see where you plan on taking things from here.

perceptive but lacking insight. inuyasha couldn't have had a clue. he heard but had no basis for comparison as to how such talk would effect sango. ♣ sango, not being a 'typical woman' who wouldn't have any physical defects except maybe bad teeth and rough hands, a scar (that she was self conscious about anyway) would fuel their contempt. it never changes, it's the same today... ♥;

I can definitely see Inuyasha's point of view on this. He's heard crap whispered behind his back his whole life, and has learned to just ignore it, so it wouldn't naturally occur to him that somebody else might be really bothered by the same thing happening to them. I'm really liking your insight on this, portraying how life isn't always "...and they lived happily ever after." Sure, we know that things will end up working out between them, but I love your take on the challenges they might have had to face in order to get to where they are when Kagome returns to the past. Well done. Keep up the good work!
