I really like how you played that one out - the fact that it pitted one promise against the other, and that he had to honor the one to his mother first, before any others. Awesome! Amber

"Weakness" was one of those classic revelation stories, but you did it well. I liked the connection with Kagome pulling the arrow from his heart and freeing him. "Promises and Honor" has me wondering how you think of these ideas. Another fresh take on an old scenario for this collection. Good stuff.

Two more good ideas. I especially liked how you had Inuyasha realize that if he kept his promise to Kikyou he would be breaking a promise to his mother. I've never seen that idea before. Very nice.

Another great one, you made me cry when I read it. And original too. I've seen stories before where Inuyasha asks Sesshomaru to revive Kagome but I've never seen one where he offered his arm in exchange.

I've read stories where Kagome dies and Inuyasha takes her to Sesshoumaru before, but never one where he offers up his left arm as "payment." That was a nice, fresh twist on an old scenario!
