Wonderful update, as always. I'm glad Kimi's finally learning Chiya's true colors, and poor Miroku, too. Somehow, I have a feeling Chiya's not going to have very many friends left (if any) when the dust settles, but she did it to herself so I don't pity her. I pity everyone having to deal with her, LOL.

Poor Kaede, having been left totally out of the loop like that. Fujime and Koume will fill her in right quick though, I imagine. Now here's hoping she can get Chiya to take those 'calm down' herbs she brought, LOL. The continuation of the Inu/Kag scene at the beginning was cute, too. Keep up the great work! :-)

Awww, I love this story so much! Such a fascinating world you've built up. And now that Rin's back on the scene, I'm positively squirming with anticipation! It's always a treat when you reference her or Sesshoumaru. And I wonder what's going on with Chiya, hmmm... Is there any chance that Kouga will make an appearance in this fic?

Awwww... Inu/Kag WAFF! Yay! After a day like today, I'd want another day off, too. Maybe a vacation hut over in that area where he took her before, so they can escape there for a few days at a time when need be, LOL. With all the craziness that happened in the last few chapters it's easy to forget that Kaede was left out of the loop, too, so good job bringing mention of her back into it, and explaining why she never ended up showing up at Hisa's, having to take care of those other village men after she was done treating Aki. And just when she was sitting down to tea, now she's got to go give Chiya a valium, LOL. And it's all Inuyasha's fault! After all, if he hadn't fallen off of the roof then Kimi wouldn't have had the opportunity to offer to fix his sleeve, and thus Chiya wouldn't have seen what a kindhearted woman Kimi really is. She still would've yelled at Inuyasha for even being there, of course, but butterfly effect and all, maybe things wouldn't have played out exactly the same without the Inu/Kimi-sleeve interaction and thus Michio wouldn't have demanded she give an apology she just couldn't bring herself to give. So yes, it's all Inuyasha's fault, LOL. Shame on you! *snort* Can't expect somebody like Chiya to even remotely consider the possibility that it's her fault, now can we? Excellent update, as always. Definitely looking forward to seeing what happens next, and how you wind this day/arc down to a close.

Good update! Looks like this day is finally getting ready to wind down. I don't blame Inuyasha for just wanting to go home after everything that's happened. I'm sure they're close enough to finished on the temple that they don't need him for the last bit of it. Poor thing, getting cornered by all those women, LOL. At least he managed to spit out a concise rundown of what happened, the why he really can't answer; like he said they'd have to ask Chiya herself. How the hell is he supposed to know why she did what she did? I can understand their concern, though, 'cause yeah in a small village like that, a major upset like this really does affect everybody else. LOL, Chiya most certainly has earned the right to be talked about, hasn't she? So excellent work, as always. Looking forward to the next chapter, as always. :-)

LOL, poor Inuyasha. I know that "I just want to go home!" feeling well, LOL. Really good update, of course, not that I was really expecting anything less than your usual fabulousness. Really liked that little snippet you added with them mentioning his mother. The women talking about making the flower garden into a vegetable garden was cute, too. Reminds me of what I eventually want to do in my front courtyard, doing a Japanese-esque style of garden but exclusively out of edibles. Don't have a shrine kami living in my garden whom I'd get into arguments with over how it should all be done, so it's all good, LOL. Looking forward to your next update, as always. :-)

Good update! Loved that scene with Inuyasha and Kagome out on the veranda. LOL, I like how Riki was shocked and concerned when Inuyasha admitted to falling off the roof, but Kagome didn't even bat an eye and just thought about his poor kosode. He is rather rough on his undershirt; makes me wonder what he did to repair it before meeting Kagome, LOL. Sounds like Tameo, Tsuneo and Daitaro have gotten a few things figured out that we'll be let in on pretty soon. Definitely looking forward to Thursday's update. :-)

I completely agree; that Miroku/Sango WAFF was the WAFFiest! A much needed focus on those two for a primarily Inu/Kag centered story. Got to veer off to focus on the other members of the Inu-tachi from time to time, and Sango definitely needed to be reminded just how much Miroku loves her, and why. Fabulous chapter. Looking forward to next week's installments. :-)

That was such a beautiful scene between Miroku and Sango; we really saw how much love there is between them! She finally knows that no matter what, she is her husbands number one priority, alongside their children. Keep up the great work! :)

I agree with Inuyasha; it's much better to get angry over a bitch like that than feel sad, and bad about yourself. Kagome always has been at her strongest when she's defending the ones she loves, so maybe if Chiya had just torn into her, and her alone, it would've been different, but Kagome didn't have time to worry about feeling bad about herself from the put down when Chiya started tearing into Sango, and she immediately clicked over into defense mode. I'm sure she, along with the other women, will really love to hear what happened with Chiya up at the temple. Of course, first Miroku and Sango need to have their private discussion. Miroku/Sango WAFF here we come! LOL

Fabulous update, as always. Damn you sure know how to leave it on an awesome cliffhanger, don't you? LOL. Loved the light teasing and banter between Inuyasha and Miroku. For a minute there, when you cut back to the guys at the temple, I wasn't sure if you were going to cut back to the girls or not, so I'm glad you did. We're right on the edge, now, so I'm definitely looking forward to your next update. Keep up the awesome work! :-)

So much DRAMA! You have a way of making me think something is settled, and then something else happens to cause the problem to come roaring back! I love this story but it really doesn't feel like I've been reading it as long as I have! You keep me so intrigued that I don't even notice the time passing by! Can't wait to see what happens next and how Miroku and Inuyasha will handle hearing what was said to their wives! Thanks again for an amazing update to an amazing story! :)

WONDERFUL update! I can't blame Michio for being so freakin' angry; made me chuckle when he was like I take it back, I should beat her. LOL, I guess really no he shouldn't, but damn, some people can just make you so mad. Maybe he shouldn't beat her up like a true wife batterer would do, but one nice hard smack across the face for good measure wouldn't hurt from time to time. In that day and age, for a wife to act like Chiya's been doing is shameful indeed. If you want to spread rumors with your lady friends and meddle in women's affairs that's one thing, but you obey your husband when he tells you to do something, damn it. Poor Inuyasha, thinking the whole thing is somehow his fault because Michio kicked Chiya out for not apologizing to him, but he needs to listen to the others 'cause they're right. It's not really about him, it's just the principle of the thing, that she wouldn't do as he'd told her to, and like they also said this wasn't the first time, either. Kimi's too kind for her own good, though I didn't miss how she knew she needed to get Eiji's permission first, because it's not her place to offer her home like that without his say so. Eiji's too nice for his own good, too, LOL. Doubt she'll be staying with them for very long, though; Michio suggested Tsuneo have her take care of the crazy man, and I think having her look after Morio is a fabulous idea. She needs some kind of serious punishment, so if a firm beating isn't an option, and dissolving their marriage for real isn't an option, and selling her off to Edo's pleasure quarters certainly isn't an option (doubt Tsuneo would let it go that far, if for nothing else than Haname's sake, and Chiya and Michio's children) then shacking her up with Morio seems like the perfect solution. Good riddance! LOL. And bum Bum BUM, can't wait to see what happens when Miroku and Inuyasha make it to Hisa's. Keep up the awesome work!

Guess we were just about due for a 'meanwhile' back with the women. Poor Sango, and I can totally see why she fell for it, believing Chiya when she said how the other women felt, if she was bad luck or what have you. Since Chiya was so nice before, and especially because she was donating to the temple, then why would she have been doing it on purpose just to be spiteful, right? Like Sango said, while other girls were learning womanly things she was learning battle techniques, so if one of the women of the village tells her that the other women think she's odd and they don't want her around, why wouldn't she believe that? So I guess it really was a good thing after all that Chiya decided to crash Hisa's sewing party; Chiya sabotaged herself and doesn't even realize it, the dolt. They never would have been clued in to how she was alienating Sango on all their behalves otherwise, and now, it's quite clear to me that Sango is going to be involved with a lot more of the women's things, and there isn't anything Chiya can do to stop it anymore. Can't wait to see Miroku's reaction, when he finds out what all Chiya's been up to. Sure, he probably already knew how she felt about Inuyasha, but I'm guessing he's got no idea how against Sango she's been acting. Definitely looking forward to your next update, and the next update after that, and the next update after that. ;-)

Oh HO! Things are getting good now *rubs palms together greedily*. I can't believe she freakin' tried to run away like a spoiled little five-year-old, LOL. At least spit out the words of an apology, woman, disregarding however much hatred you show in your eyes. To turn and run like that... Go Tsuneo, for catching her, LOL. SUPER looking forward to seeing what happens next. :-)
