Wait, wait, wait Ben has a brother?? Meaning there's another foxy
panther out there in the purity universe. Oh the possibilities.
Though more importantly, they're acting like parents but don't
realise it yet and an impromptu sleepover, yay. Though the morning
will bring Myrna...

Oh Sue...because of you and Ben I'm no longer living up to my name.
'Not so Silent Reader' doesn't have an ounce of mystery to it. But
on the brightside, the babies love her and Eddie loves her so
hopefully our resident panther will take the hint. Looking forward
to the next one.

And we're off! Fantastic description of a shirtless Ben, I had such
a vivid flash (I'm still smiling) and I find it incredibly funny
that he is using one of Cain's excuses from when he was trying his
damndest not to pursue Gin. Well it's time to pay the piper
Benjiro, Charity is not 19 anymore. Thanks for the update Sue.

Yayy you are back!!! I am glad to see Ben and Charity's story
getting told. I can't wait to see Charity's reaction to the twins,
it could cause great misunderstanding or provide a platform for
clearing the air. Knowing you a bit of both will probably ensue. I
look forward to seeing more and more of Purity 10

Holy guacamole...Poor Charity. I feel like with this chapter you
really gave us a slight insight on Charity and I can't wait til you
fully give us more on her and on Ben especially Ben. I have all
these crazy theories in my head on how Ben came to be and what his
backstory is! I'm just so giddy with excitement that you posted
this story. Keep up posted and keep up the tremendous work you do
with the Purity Series. Can't wait for the next chapter to see how
Charity reacts with the twins!!!

(continued, I'm sorry) but it's there. All I can do is sigh happily
and think, 'there it is. There's that moment.' Every one of your
stories is made up of these. I cannot wait to see how you close the
divide between Ben and Charity. Even though the pairing has been
hinted about over and over, I can understand why she took a step
back, and Ben with babies? Babies? Now, I admit, this concept never
occurred to me (but then, that's not surprising, either, I don't
think), and yet, it seems so perfect, too. After all, Ben's old,
right? Well, old in terms of humans, at least. I don't know how
old, but given that he was well into adulthood during Revolution,
then it stands to reason that he's been around the block a number
of times. Ben and babies means ridiculously happy sigh on this side
of the monitor! I cannot WAIT to see how this one unfolds! In the
words of Kagome, don't let me down! With much love forever, Kariann

As much as I adore your works (and make no mistake, I ENJOY your
works like none other!) I'll admit, I've been a silent reader for
years. I think that I just always felt, somewhere in my head, that
you would just "know" how we all felt. That was probably a pretty
stupid thing to assume, and I'm sorry. I started reading your work
at the beginning of Purity (no joke! I think I read your first
chapter the day you posted it. I have no idea how I managed to
stumble across it, but I did). But, being a kid at the time (I was
around 16, I think?) and a really crappy kid at that, I'll admit
that I waited-WAITED-for you to screw up. I waited with baited
breath for you to do something that I could jump on, so I could
flame you. I wanted to because, to be honest (and I'm ashamed to
admit it) I was ridiculously jealous of you and of the power you
hold over words. Where I and so many others falter, I watched as
you used WORDS to bend and to mold this universe, and I kept asking
myself from chapter to chapter and story to story as I wiped tears
from misery or laughter over and over again, as I sighed that
dreamy little sigh because I was so HAPPY with those words and the
magic they held. So I kept asking myself over and over just how you
did it? I mean, they're just words, aren't they? How could you use
these words to say exactly what would tug on our hearts? I read a
quote you posted once, I don't know if it was your own or someone
else's, but you'd said: WRITING IS PAINTING A PICTURE WITH WORDS,
or something to that effect, and that, my dear, is what you do.
Over time, I've started to understand what it is about the words
you use, and I think it's just the ones that you choose that evoke
such emotion, and I've long since decided that I cannot do what you
do, so what I do instead is wait. I wait for you, Sueric. I wait
for you to paint those pictures for me, and even if you only write
for yourself, the countless paintings left in my head never leave
me. THANK YOU for this. If you never understand how vast an impact
you've left and continue to keep leaving on the fanfiction
community on a whole, that's okay. Just understand the impact
you've left on ME. But enough of that! I wanted to leave this
comment about this story in particular (and I'm running out of
character count, so please forgive me if I end up having to do two
reviews, please)... Back in Purity 4 when Ben was introduced as a
character, I thought he was interesting in a passing kind of way
since he was a background character, kind of like the gray wash
undertone of a painting that is there to do a job and he did. You
did that well, which is another thing you do that fascinates me.
You don't write a character 'just to write them'. There's always a
reason, but I digress. Throughout the body of your work, my
fascination for Ben grew, story by story and moment to moment, and
when you threw these little bits of Charity into the mix? Well,
I've anticipated this story like no other, and it killed me that
you gave no indication that we'd ever actually 'see' how they come
together, so imagine my ridiculously giddy squeal of joy when I
clicked the link and read... Ben! But it's more than just Ben, it's
Charity, too. She's a woman we can identify with. I think that, if
we're honest, we can all admit to having that seed of insecurity
deep within, kind of like Nezumi. But the thing that captured my
attention the most in this chapter? It was the interaction with
Sesshomaru that did it for me. We've seen him act wise and
wonderful in Purity. We've seen him in all his stubborn glory in
P2. We've seen his fierce desire to protect, even if it's not as
on-the-sleeve as his half-brother, in P3. We've seen many different
facets of his character in the stories, but we've never seen the
special relationship that a grandfather always seems to have with
his grandchildren until now. I cannot pinpoint it, but it' | Reviewed By: Silent Reader [MediaMiner Member] On: May 23, 2017 16:17 PDT Comment/Review:
Lady...if you keep this up I just may keel over with happiness. I
cannot wait to see how this date kicks off and how it all comes
together. You're great at weaving and developing characters and
their relationships. I'm sure Ben will straighten out Charity's
depreciating thoughts and the babies will help too. Thank you for
the update Sue, keep 'em coming.

and promptly dug out my login details just to express how happy I
am that (a) you're back and (b) despite Anolamy being on hiatus
(which I'm crossing everything in the hopes that the hiatus ends
soon) you've managed to give me something I've been hoping
for...Ben. He has been such a great constant in the Purity universe
and each encounter that we've had with him has endeared him to me.
Finally him and Charity (you've been teasing us just so) and some
twins. I do wonder if the Zelig twins are sorted for mates now with
these two coming along. Please do not stop writing. You have made
my day and I look forward to seeing what happens. Welcome back Sue!

Sue!!! OMG, Sue!!! BEN!! NAKED (then only towel wearing) BEN!!!
Wait, I think that I need a moment... Okay! Now that I've had my
mo', let me tell you something. Way, way back when, years ago when
you first posted Purity 4: Justification, I had this secret longing
to meet this man known as Ben. I really cannot tell you just why I
wanted to see more of this character (did I mention he was
NAKED???) but c'mon! Now I know why! Though it interests me because
he really does come across differently than he has through the
various mentions in the other fics, but DAYUM! Now, my guess is
that Ben is going to end up adopting these twins just because
there's so much central talk regarding them, and can I say?
OHEMGEE! So, if Ben adopts these precious babies, does that mean
that he will also (FINALLY) get Charity, too? I mean, they're a
canon pairing, right? (Is there such a thing as a canon pairing in
a fanfic continuation series?) Well, if there is, they're
definitely one, and is this why you never really moved them out of
the cute-datey-phase? I'm not sure what sparked your muse, but I,
for one, am eagerly awaiting this story. I love, love, love the way
he seems to be a little more on the less-reserved side, but I
wonder, is that because he's at home in his own domain, so to
speak? If so, then it makes sense. There is just something
ridiculously hot about that particular youkai, and I cannot wait to
see what you've got in store for him-and for us! Welcome back,
Sueric. You've truly, truly been missed!
