I shall now remedy that... First off, absolute kudos on choosing Midvalley to be your main character. Now, you can come by fic after fic revolving on Vash's feelings, less but still significant for Wolfwood, a few for Legato and maybe one or two for Knives is you're lucky, but I don't believe I've ever seen a fiction delve so deeply into Midvalley's psyche. That fact in itself makes it stand out from the crowd. Another is the sheer spectrum of emotion this fiction presents - when it's funny you laugh out loud, when it's happy you grin as wide as though your face may split in two; this characters are touching and moving... a key element that is sorely missed in the daily incoming deluge of new (and sadly unoriginal) fanfiction. Finally, MS has greatly enhanced the original timeline and fills in so many grey areas with a fresh, innovative way to interpret the Gung-ho Guns element of the Trigun story. Even though we may know how Trigun ends, this fiction makes it all new again. I was in tears at the tail end of "Bread of Heaven" because Wolfwood and Midvalley's love is so poignant, deep and true that you just can't help but wish them a happy ending. I don't think I can stress this enough - this is no typical fiction! You've got me hooked and I diligently scout for new chapters at any spare moment and will continue to do so. You are a truly gifted writer. |

Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. . . . . .words cannot describe it. Better than I ever had or even could imagine. Stunned. Amazed. And oooooh the premonition about how near the ending is.
(I'd the overall rating a 15 if I could.) |

Wow! I'm never gonna see this section of the series the same way again. I knew events were somewhat orchestrated, but not THAT controlled. I thought Midvalley's observations of Vash were very 'nail on the forehead'.
"That wasn't in the script." (something like that) Pardon me as I snicker.
I am grateful for the fast and wonderful update.
Torrid City? Never heard of some of those names. Pardon me as I look them up. Carcusses, really? (sounds like a 'hard life in the desert' reference.) |

This one was great! Love the history about Legato: makes sense. Cannibalism? Yuck! Legato must be really drunk to go that deep. Please Bring Nick Back! Please Please Please! It's breaking my heart what happening to Midvalley! (hey, this might be a good thing.)
I relate to his writing the letter. It's so hard putting such emotion into words. Especially with all that's around. I hope the tear-stains (if there are any.) on the letter say enough. |

This fic really is epic...
Certainly one of the best Trigun fics ever written.
Keep it up.

What a way to catch a person's attention and drag them into the story. Never had paid much mind to Midvalley in Trigun and already with this one chapter you've made him this fully realized human being and given to Wolfwood a vulnerability and strength that we've seen in the series. Beautiful. |

CRUSH! That's the one word. CRUSH! Like a can in a recycling dumpster. And the thing that makes it worse is, Midvalley did it to himself (of course not intentionally.) $@^ Knives. Legato is. . . well. . .confusing in a curious manner. Just when it was all figured out, boom! new details. I'm beginning to think that he's a guy who just can't think for himself anymore. Heheh, I suppose 'rought f - king' can do that to someone.
Anyway, this read was great.
(Pardon me saying, but I'm impressed with Midvalley's self-control. Took him so long to resort to 'slippery M'. LOL and you know I'm joking.) |

I really like how much depth you're giving to Knives and Legato in the past two chapters. I'm really wondering as to how this is going to end! I hope that Midvalley sees Nick again, but I'm beginning to question if he will... o__O Very realistic reactions to things, like how Midvalley's compassion is making him tend to Legato, and how he's starting to become almost infatuated with him. Wonderful work. ^^ |

I walked back to the office at headquarters, put aside my angry feelings and concentrated on my work. I started to leaf through the papers.
I'm guessing you meant 'in my hand', but left out the last word. I thought you might like to know about this. ^^;

Hehe, and Knives. If I was there giving the report, I couldn't help but chuckle. "It's nothing, really. You just remind me of a boy I once knew in High School." (And very likely he will kill me.) Not saying that your Knives was bad, o no. This is just a reaction of mine. |

I'm really interested in the chemistry between Legato and Knives. Hearing about how Midvalley's rape was planned was quite a surprise! The ending was very gripping and realistic... I feel bad for Midvalley. He's so overwhelmed! I'm really anxious to see how things turn out regarding his relationship with Nick... and what's going on with Nick and Vash, I wonder? Aah, so many questions! I guess we'll just have to read more to find the answers, which I am most certainly looking forward to. :D Good work! |
