THIS FIC IS THE BEST!!!!
I have been following this fic since day one...and I must say, you've set a new standard for Rei and Usagi...wow! And this last chapter rocked! I cant wait to read the ending.... Holy crap, this fic makes me so happy. =) Good Work Kirika. I cant wait until you start on your NOIR fic, that is the perfect series for your style of writing.

THERE IS A GOD!!!!! Though......I was so right about the death scene with the mushy last words!!! But it's a happy ending!!! I won't even have a go at Mamoru just to show my thanks!! omg...i was literally fighting back tears, i really thought Rei was gonna 'kick the bucket' i was hoping that usagi would heal her but didnt think it would happen. gosh all the way through i was wondering to myself how on earth she was going to defeat Makareus. but she did *rei rocks*

you know... i look really stupid right now... i'm in the library at the university, and i'm crying my eyes out! people are looking at me like i'm some freak... and i think someone's already called the librarian to escort me out of the library and into a mental institution...
i'm one of your faithful fans from fanfiction.net... i would like to say the ff.net has just effectively lost one of the best writers i've ever come across... and arguably the best shoujo-ai fanfic in the world... and if anybody out there disagrees with me... i'm ready to come at them with balled fists!!!
i didn't really see this one coming... honest! i thought you were gonna go right ahead with usagi and mamoru ending up together... and rei's just gonna hang around them forever... but thank you for letting usagi and rei be with each other! it's like... you know... i kind believe in love again... :) i know i'm being silly already... and that this is an extremely long review... but thank you very much!
the fight scenes were incredible! i dunno where you get your ideas and your visuals but they're really great! someone should make a doujinshi out of your story... or maybe someone should animate this or make it a movie!
truly... if i could rate your fanfic higher than those allowed on this site... there wouldn't be enough zeros on the planet! i love your story! and now i'll be asking permission to print it... well, i'll wait for the final two chapters... but could i please print it? and then i'll have it hard bound! :) please? so i could read it even without my pc and people like those from ff.net won't be able to censor me? please?

Goddamn you, Kirika!! I couldn't believe it. "A Moment In Time" ends with Mars facing the grim reaper, and then you fool us for a minute with Cape Boy!!! Did you relish the fact that we would be flying on Cloud 1,204,592 that Rei didn't kick the bucket and then fall all the way to the damn ground with her dying?!?! Damn you for making me cry. :)
I'm a jittery, emotional mess, and it is ALL YOUR FAULT!!! You are my heroine. :) And for the record, I thought you were actually gonna let her die. You are so good... I didn't see the resurrection via ginzuishou coming at ALL... Christ, if there was this much angst in my life, I'd kill myself. *laughing*
I would have paid to read this. I wish I *COULD* spend all my money on Absence in the form of mangas (or dojouinshi (sp?)), videos, and action figures!
As for my opinion, if half the fan fictions in existence came close to the depth and quality of Absence, the world would be a better place. If anyone is having a moment in time, it is you.

I don't think I've ever felt more emotion or shed
so many tears over a story in my entire life! The
action in each scene was crafted with such
diligence, the powerful imagery became almost
surreal. I was riveted from beginning to end!
Its conclusion was so stunning, I had to go
back and re-read it just to make sure I
understood it right!
I only noticed a wrong choice of words somewhere
near the end... there may have been more errors,
but I was too busy reading to bothered by them.

That was EXCELLENT! This is one of the best shojo-ai fanfics I've ever read, and best of all, it took me nearly 8 hours to get through. *grin*
I loved the action sequences - usually romance is romance and action is action but you've managed to blend the two quite well.
And the relationship wasn't all candy floss and marshmellows. Rei had real issues, Usagi was torn between two people, Mamoru wasn't a bastard...happy sigh. Good characterisation overall, with perhaps the exception of Michiru, but I understand that.
Intruiging plot, as well, you actually managed to make me doubt that Rei and Usagi would get together many, many times.. the Chibi-Usa thing might have been the sole easy fix cliche.
You have a lovely style with your words, especially your subtle wording to show things to come such as Rei's early obsession/insanity. The only glaring problem you seem to have is with apostrophes - you tend to say princesses' instead of princess's, which kind of connotes that Rei has multiple princesses...
I loved the little ficlet you had at the end, and I can't wait for you to continue this story, especially more R/U interaction - they didn't get nearly enough niceness before you baited us with the mounds and mounds of angst - angst is always good, but I have a very strong feeling they've suffered enough. THEY DESERVE TO BE HAPPY!
