I really liked both the way Rei was shown, and that Shinji was showing some improvement. The author understands the basic principle of Evangelion, though. For every advancement, there will be two setbacks. This author subtantially changed a character, and then at the end of the story/episode, reset everything to normal. Rei is yet another puppet, Shinji has even more reason to hide inside himself, and Asuka has new reason to hate Wondergirl. In the end, you could insert this into the series as Canon, ala Mana and Girlfriend of Steel, and the story would not change a bit.

This was a great fic. I hope you finish it soon because I was kinda angry/sad at where it had ended. But anyway,You totally got an overall 10 from me. |

This is a great Idea you came up with...and on the last chapter I felt so sad that rei went back to the way she was...
Auska should bop her on the head and get the other rei back...

I really enjoyed this fic, and I hope this isn't the end to it. Yeah, it would be a good place to end it instead of dragging it out and turning it into something crappy later on, but...maybe it wouldn't turn to crap. I was getting attatched to the new Ayanami... Though I prefer Asuka/Shingi stories, this is the best Rei-fic I've read so far. Please don't disappoint your fans by not continuing with it... Ok, so this is just me talking, but I'm sure others who've read it feel the same. |

An interesting fic. I don't think I've ever read about Rei just suddenly developing emotions like that, it's an interesting twist. I hope that chapter 6 isn't the last chapter as I think there's more you could do with this since there are more angels left, and Shinji, Asuka, and Misato trying to bring the emotional Rei back would be an interesting story. |
