i just reread this story because i actually forgot i read it in the first place. my first review still stands but i noticed something else as well. in chapter 4 it said he was tired from driving 150 miles in a whole day... thats a little messed up. the average speed limit in the US is 55 miles per hour (i am assuming the speed limit would be something similar in Japan but since you used the English measurement system im basing it off the US average). to cover the distance mentioned he would have had to drive at most 3 hrs, and while that can be exhausting if you are not used to long hrs in a car it would only take you all day if you stopped for a 4 hr break every hr. now 500 miles is an all day trip (takes about 9 hrs counting a 30 minute break)

you moved to fast. with 2 eye witnesses and his prints on the gun it was an open and shut case, no amount of police blotching could mess it up. Should have had a jail break or something similar where a whole bunch of inmates got out later on it the story. Also Kagome would have run straight to inuyasha when she got that can not pushed it to the back of her mind, remember she is scared to death of this guy that just killed her mother, she wouldnt forget.
