I think this has to be one of the best fics i have ever read, and believe me when i say that i have read many (a lot!), of different fandoms and ships. the plot is simply marvelous and the AU created goes along great with the the development of the characters. I read this fanfic all at once (you can imagine how much time i have spend sitting here...) because i simply coulden't get my eyes away from the screen and time simply flew by, i think now is like 4 am or something ... well anyway, i just wanted you to know that i thought this was a masterpiece and of course i can't help but beg you to UPDATE as soon as you can. (i'm sorry for the spelling mistakes or grammar but english isn't my mother language, just adopted ;D )

I'm glad I just finished reading the Sea of Fertility tetralogy so that I understood that reference. No insult to Mishima himself, but let's hope that Shishio's plans reach an end as futile as Mishima's grandstanding did. ;) I'm so glad you've updated, and the "more soon" bit is the icing on the cake.

Really, the only reason I check mm.org nowadays is to see if this has been updated... ^_^ It's so sad to see Kenshin and Kaoru acting like this. They don't want to pressure or bring harm to each other but they can't let go, either. It's frustrating to see them tiptoe and be so insecure of the other person's love and trust - but that's how many people I know act in the face of huge (external) difficulties in their relationsips so I definately understood that. Why is Aki being so helpful all of a sudden? What will happen to Sano and Megumi? Saitou is helping Kenshin only as much as he has to, which is exactly what you'd expect from him. Shishio is such a slimeball. So is that prick, Hideki... and I'm going to kill Kenshin if he ever betrays the faith Yahiko has in him. I am greatly enjoying the story I'm hoping^2 that there will be more soon!

This fanfic is so incredibly captivating that I couldn't stop reading it once I started. I love the way that you've made everything so realistic and believable, it's really quite awe-inspiring. This story of your's is impressivly original and very creative. One that will always be a favorite of mine. I can hardly wait till you update. (P.S. I was pretty sad about you shaving his head though because it wasn't necessary [and because I love his long ass hair lol.] I say this from personal experience because my hair was around my mid back when I got lice and there was no cutting involved just washing my hair with specieal shampoo and it was all gone^__^.)

*stifles scream of joy* Whee! I love the way this is going. It follows the Kyoto arc but at the same time, it's so original and despite being set in the modern times it's completely believable. Among other things (strange as it is) I liked the parts about Kenshin having lice and all that because it made him more like a real human instead of a drop-dead gorgeous cardboard dude who never took a shit in his life. LOL!

Great, great story. I know I should say some helpful things instead of fawning, but I'm still engrossed in it. In fact I'm gonna go over my favorite parts of this again after I finish writing this review, heh.

I know compliments like "This is the greatest fic EVAR" are thrown around a dozen a dime around here, but I really do think that this is the best RK AU fic I've seen. I just started reading today and couldn't stop until the ;ast chapter... and read it all over again. Kudos.

I actually printed this chapter out...I was awe stricken at how well it was written. I guess I was really lucky at how I had just finished reading it and then a few days later there was an update..WONDERFUL..absolutely WONDERFUL!

It took me hours to read this...God it was soo good. I can't believe Kenshin has gone crazy again. This is the climax to the story. I couldn't eat because I felt that I would get sick from all the crying I was doing. I haven't found this moving a fiction in the K and K world for a long time...Now that I've come across someone like yourself I can't wait till you update. This fiction is well worth the read. With chapters that long I could care less how long it takes you to update. Just as long as you update this beautifully written story.

I thought Sen said Soujiro was a psychiatrist in the last chapter? Or was she just fooled by Shishio? Anyway, I love reading about the Kyoto arc in a new light. None of the lukewarm reheated mush of some of the AU fics here, nope. I'm also wondering if Kenshin and Kaoru's relationship can survive after this. Realistically and logically, I'd say no, but I'm a sucker for K&K and hope they can somehow stay together through this.
