Wow, I love this vamp fic! Yugi as a slayer rocks! I do hope there really is a sequal to this... it's just too awsome to leave alone. Especially with an ending like that! You do so well with vamp fics... don't ever stop, please!

It's Glen Cook's "Garrett the Detective" novels, meets "Blade", meets "Yu-Gi-Oh!" I must say, hard ass Yugi vampire slayer rocks, and he's insane to boot. I love this story to pieces, and have a tendency to re-read it now and then. There are just some things that get burned into your mind, like the way characters act, or things that are said. Seto with a southern accent trying to molest Yugi. The macho bike races. The insane little hentai voice in Yugi's head. Foreshadowing of things to come. Yami being a tease, and a blunt one at that, and I will never forget his comment about masturbating which turned to a running gag. Evil morning perkiness. And one line that will forever live in my mind, "The trench coat was not for show. The trench coat was to hide the show." Throw in the angsty drama and it's just one of those stories that you fall in love with. But probably what I like even more is watching you style develop as the story goes on. By the end you're talking to YGO characters in your "author notes" and some of the names get fixed. Yes I'm odd, I'm one of those people that likes it when writers talk to the readers in their notes. Yeah I'm gushing; it's just that damn good.
