Some DBZ fics are just so rediculous, but I feel every word in these are just like things that I imagine I would feel in the same situation, and it's (gasp!) really well written, too! There are no rediculous situations, crazy things happening that aren't explained, and all the emotions fit the characters really well. Plus, despite the fact that it sounds like your generic B/V get-together fic, it's refreshingly unique. Plus, there's some sap, but evened out with some wailing girls, fearful Goku's, angsty Princes, and of course some good natured smut (what would it be without it?). There are some good laughs in here, too, but nothing compared to the prequel (HILARIOUS, by the way). Big fat kudos to you, author-chick. You are rocking my fanfic world right now. ^-^

I read, and printed out, "The Date" and just happened to run across it in cleanig up my room and decided to see if you had posted this story. Not only had you posted it, you were finished too. It's really good, and you didn't need a lemon at all to make it an interesting story and keep the readers interest.

Your fic is really really good! It is so realistic! I just... wow! I hope you will keep on writing about Vegeta and Bulma, maybe do a sequel of After the kiss, I'd be the first one to read it you know!

This was a really good story. You didn't even need heavy lemons to make it good, which was kinda cool. I usually only read lemons, but from what I see and read all the time, you beta read almost everyones stories, so I had to check you out. You are a really good writer, and I look forward to reading more of your stories.

I'm so glad you updated this, because I wouldn't have come across it otherwise (I'm lazy like that, yanno!) I've just started reading it, but I'm already hooked - you have such a mastery with words. I was howling at the mental arguments the poor couple carried on with themselves. All kinds of reasoning why it was so not a good idea, then one little thought would crop up and send their libido South! It's so good to know that Vegeta has standards. (The thought of Nappa and a hole sends me into more fits...) I think if Bulma becomes too obstinate, Vegeta can always tell her what his alternative was. She'll probably race him to the bed... Loving it so far!

I understand why you left FFN. I don't blame you; I think I would've done the same thing. But at least on mm.org you don't have to worry about the political censorship crap. I loved the conversation you added between Bulma and Mirai Trunks. It helped him to understand his father a bit better, and to help Bulma remind herself as well. I can't wait to read the new fic!!!

I did think there wasn't enough Mirai T in this get-together, but the focus on your wonderful Bulma was so close-up and accurate, I didn't miss him, not really. The bit you added is small but it works beautifully. As always I'm impressed with how you manage to compact a lot of emotion and meaning into snippets of dialogue--it takes other writers pages of exposition and description to work that sort of drama in. I wasn't left wanting. And the transition from Bulma's conversation with Trunks to her encounter with V worked so well--the latter was all the more poignant because of the former. Oh well, now you've made me want to read this whole story again. I've come back to the last chapter more than a few times (your chapt 11 is such a lovely piece of B/V--it almost always makes me misty-eyed). When I read this again all the way through, I may review again, but if I don't, just know that this story is one of my absolute faves. I believe every word. And thanks for the right on Bulma. I've put up with many a lesser Bulma in other B/Vs just because I love V so much, but having the "real" one here makes all the other B/V lore the richer somehow....? Did that make sense? oK, running out of space... deb

i would of had a faster review but it took me so long to find AFTER THE KISS. FIRST"DATE" MADE ME WANT TO READ THE REST.you only made 1 mistake that i remeber and that should matter.you may of mixed up something like with the Krillin situation i didn't notice till you mentoin it you said there was a mistake.Lisa you made this story your own it was very enjoying to read thank you for writing.

that was perfect. thank you. I totally agree--no declarations of undying love. They have time--the deeper love seems to truly arrive much later from the story Toriyama gave us. The story you gave us was just beautiful (sniff, sniff) and please please write more. What a heart you have for this sort of stuff! Romance without too much sap! Cleverness, great dialogue, just perfect!
