Your fic totally roks. Very much. Ooooh, so it's the last two weeks of school and then some un-academically-scheduled time? Real nice job. I had indeed wondered how you'd swing them enough time to get close. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Torture hamsters! Ha ha ha! Kikyo would never torture hamsters, right? ...right?! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I wonder when Kagome will realize that what she's doing could be cruel. The memories of 1992 are private and might not be able to help. Digging them up to purge his demons might be one thing -- if it would work -- but she's doing it for her own curiosity. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's as private for him as that song is for her, though probably not nearly as enriching.

Substance typo: "His employEEs wouldn't be able to do anything..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So either someone tried to kill him, someone he trusted; someone killed him / herself in his presence; or someone shot the puppy, probably a psychological thing... My money's still on "something to do with his youkai blood," but when do I ever guess right?

Okay. I really have been enjoying this story so far. You make the chapters a nice length but then you leave a cliffy. WHY?!! Good story so far. Update soon.

Don't apologize for the short chapter, even if it wasn't as long as your usual updates it was still an excellent one. Your writing is a pure joy to read, no matter if it's dark, sad or humorous, whatever circumstance the characters are in you have a wonderful way of writing that captivates one's attention. I cannot think of anything to complain about, and the praises would likely take up too much room, lol. Suffice it to say that you are very talented and as a fan I can't thank you enough for sharing it with us. Looking forward to the next chapter and hope that your other fics will be updated soon as well (now if that wasn't a blatant hint I don't know what is). Best Wishes
