Just found this story. Very interesting ideas! It really takes a different track than most I/K stories. Looking forward to more.

Hey now, that's a terrible place to leave it. ----You weren't kidding when you said this was "dark" in content. I almost quit reading when InuYasha became so aggressive. He has always been aware of and gentle with Kagome. Jealousy yes, but never cruel nor physically violent to her. He could never hurt her, not deliberately...and there's the rub; deliberately. Loosing control is never a pretty thing, and that's what we're talking about here. InuYasha loosing control of his temper, not communicating (as usual) and loosing control of his youkai half. A very bad combination. We also have Kagome loosing control of her life, her emotions...and loosing touch with reality...in essence; loosing herself. They say that one should write what they know...and I hope that wherever the knowledge came from or whoever inspired this story has found balance and peace just as I hope that Kagome and InuYasha find theirs. ---- You had me in tears. I will await further postings. ---- Damned fine job of writing!

wow, i love it soooooooooo much!!!!!!!!! it's soooooo good. very angsty, but hey what good storie doesnt have angst??? it's kinda confusing though, i thought that she had killed inuyasha at first and i was soooo sad, i didnt get to read the next chapter beacuse i read it on FF.net and it was deleted. i bow my head. but now its on MM and im HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anywho, lovin it!!!

Good God...THat was....wow..THAT WAS THE BEST DAM STORY EVER!!! omg....how..how did u write it so well..it's like u took my mind and made my perfect fanfiction. I had always wanted to write a story like this but never started. I'm just really shoked...OMG...I know I have said it before..but I take it back..I take it back. This is and always will be the best story I have ever read in my entire life. You didn't use the youkai mates idea...you well...created it then perfected it...I reallllllllllllllly hope that u update soon. creepy yet compelling. Are she and Inuyasha going to talk about this? Because she deffinately needs to.. of course, this is a completely different culture we're talking about and she might need to just accept it...

That disturbed me. Might very well give me nightmares because I've been thinking about how... dark the world is and how we try to make if more "fair" yet fail so utterly... It was so well written I want to read more, even with the upset. Good job capturing the very real and important differences in their world views. Are they surmountable? Explainable? Understandable? Part of me is really pissed off at this story because it hurts so badly. The rest of me is very proud of you for writing it. Excellent work, really.
