I am sooo glad this isn't another one of those stupid "Kagome's family suddenly becomes abusive even though they're the sweetest people on earth" thing. Um, I kinda missed it, was Kags adopted?

Great story, I guess Kags mom has a disease or something.....is Kag going to go to the past with Souta to try to tell everyone she needs more time at home? Do the Inu gang find out?

Wow... What a chapter. So her mom is dying? Only 5-6 months left? Is that why everything happened as it did? What can they do? What is Kagome going to do? Keep up the great work.

Dang. What happened to them. I know of the mom and ojii-san being very loose with Kagome's travels. And since it seems that you are going to take that route but with something changing them, then that leads to question; what exactly happened to change their minds. I know my mom only slapped me when I cussed her out (long story). And she never did it hard enough to leave a mark. So they must be trying to protect her, but from what? What do they know or were threatned by to do that to her? Great start. Keep up the good work.

Well, I can't say much about the story for now, but the beginning is pretty interesting. I'll look forward to the next chapter when the plot will begin to develop more. I just can't imagine what would make Kag's mom and grandpa hit her. Keep on writing!
