You really have me invested in the outcome of this story. I love how you've portrayed the relationship between Vegeta and Bra, it's very true to life, I think. I really hope you'll continue with this story, it's just so bittersweet.

Wow, that was just awesome. I loved how he was just so forthright, like, "and what are you going to do about it?" I feel so bad for Bra though... to find out that way. Hopefully their relationship has formed enough that they can get past this. Thanks for updating :)

I've just found this fic and is truly surprised and sadden that it's escaped my knowledge for so long. To think, I could have been reading quality fanfiction earlier...I am so ashamed. Still, I'm so impressed at how original this is. Out of all the DBZ/GT fanfics I've read, I can say I've never come across the premise of Bra not knowing about Vegeta's pass. I don't think it's been done before, but I could be wrong. It's truly is amazing, the insight you seem to have into Vegeta. I'd be hard pressed to find another 5 writers in the fandom that has as firm a grip as you on his character, and he is not an easy one to try and portray. It's the layers and layers of complexities makes Vegeta such an interesting character. You just never know if you're getting the whole picture with him, but you do realize that things go a lot deeper then what's shown. Which is why he's my favorite character. How you can capture the Prince of all Saiyan's so completely is so awesome to me and that makes you one of my favorite DBZ writers. As for Miss Heather, I'm sure she wouldn't be missed if Trunks took her out in the back and burned her to a fine crisp. I think the guy deserves it for putting up with her shit all evening long. And poor Vegeta and Bra. I hope their relationship can recover from this, no doubt he as disappointed in himself as Bra is. He's to a speedy recovery to them both. I can't wait for the next chapter. ~Kenya

The strangest thing happened to me this morning. When I woke up, for some reason I was thinking of handstands. This managed to segue into Vegeta's performance for Bra (my brain works in strange ways...) After that, I found myself thinking 'wouldn't it be nice if there was a new chapter'... then I got up and checked my e-mail, only to see a new chapter!! Gee, wouldn't it be nice if my lotto numbers came up? ~looks around~ Well, it was worth a try... XD

I am greatly enjoying this story so far the build up of tension in chapter 5 greatly increased my anticipation for the revelation of Bra's secret. It is quite sad that they have to go to such lengths to hide who they are, electrolosis and amputation seems inhumane but then again the situation calls for it considering the events which led to Vegeta's arrival on earth. However, since there is no evidence, as far as Bulma knows, connecting Vegeta to the attack on Earth surely it wouldn't matter if they did reveal their alien origins. In the Dragonball universe there are many half animal half human creatures living on Earth. It just seems like such a brutal gesture to erase visual evidence of ones origins. I eagerly await the moment when Vegeta tells Bra about his tragic past for I love how you depict their father daughter relationship and wonder if revealing his past will alter their bond somehow.

Wow. I'm still new, but by afar this is one of the best fics I read here. I love Vegeta's familiar stories,and loved the way he and Bulma act as one (sigh). That horrible girl... she made me mad!! I was very bullied in school, and seeing anyone in the same situation makes my blood boil. Hope Bra'll allowed to beat on her in the end. That's the least that b**tch deserves. Can't wait to read more.

Another update! All your fics are awesome, but I really love these family-type ones. There's such a distinction in the various relationships Vegeta has with his family. I love the way he and Trunks banter! Chapter 4 was a hoot, but I could so hear them talking like that to each other! It's interesting that Vegeta handled Bra's... truth-mangling... the way he did. I can just imagine how you might have written it if it had been Trunks instead. I expect it would have been a completely different atmosphere. I also like how the issue was brought to the table and discussed as a family, although such a democratic way of handling conflicts might still be foreign to the prince. Revenge is going to be sweet. I can't imagine how hard it's going to be for him to have that "talk" with Bra. No daddy wants his image to be tarnished, especially when it comes to his little girl.

I love it. Maybe it's because I love stories with Vegeta and Bra, og maybe it's because it's so absolutely great written, or maybe it's because I'm a sucker for Vegeta when he shows affection in any kind towards his family.. :) I love it. keep it up, and update soon!

I love this story. I love how you've taken a beautiful one-shot with so many resonances and made it into a well-paced, fascinating *story.* And I'm so deadly curious about Vegeta and his family in this period. Thanks for showing them to me! And the Vegeta POV here was wonderful.
