Oh my! So few reviews for such an amazing fic... I probably should have given you comments after I read this fic, immediately! Or at least the second time around... But I digress! You write with such skill. I am honored to have read such an amazing story... Truly, never have I felt more alive than when I read something truly breathtaking and awe-inspiring. Thank you.

After thinking about you story for the last day, I have two questions. 1. Were Duo's allegations against Senator Peacecraft never addressed by authorities? Even if there was no evidence to prove his heinous crime, it had to have tarnished his reputation. 2. Is Quatre one in Neko years, making him older than a normal one-year old child? I've never met a one-year old who could say more than a couple of words and those words are usually no, water, and maybe momma. They definitely aren't anywhere near as atriculate or knowledgeable as Quatre in this last chapter. Other than these questions, it's been a very enjoyable story, even with all the angst. Hope you pick this up again before too long.

Okay, before I go off to look at the story's you have written that I havn't read I'd like to know if a) your done with this story and b) If you'll be doing a sequel. Cause I'm gonna go crazy thinking of how Quatre is going to grow up and how the other, if any, two gundam pilots are going to fit into this. I'm going to cry if you say your done with the entire plot line.

Alright, I'll take your word that Duo's not dead yet, but it certainly looks grim. Two life sentences for robbery and attempted murder seem rather severe, especially since he deliberately didn't kill the senator. But this is an alternative universe and anything can happen, I suppose. Great chapter! Guess we'll see how determined Heero is to have Duo free, and what Dorothy's part is in all this. Happy holidays to you, also. ^_^

ch19 - Go heero! I didn't think that the izuzu had recorded the murder of Duo's family?! but i guess waking up all battered and bloody Duo had to get away in something... I could hug Deputy Vega!! Now if only he'd bring some food for Duo, that'll help out a lot. The information that Heero revealed about Neko metabolism is shocking so I strongly hope that Duo gets something to eat soon. Heero risked a lot get his evidence to the trial but i'm now concerned for his safety and the safety of the evidence as well. I think Duo did really well on the stand despite the poking and prodding from the peacecraft leech of a lawyer. He really did reveal that prejudice is prejudice regardless of race and that in america its a covert thing, foreshadow through the medias protrayal of certain individuals are as animals - violent and murderous, ignorant or incapable of taking care of their own (making it a stereotype of all in a particular group instead of the few it sometimes represents). "At the time, he didn't recognize it as possibly the last time he'd ever see Duo.....and gave the bohemian one last look....." Ohoh...*alarmed* This is not going to be a death fic, is it? I'd still read it even if Duo (or Heero) get killed, (waaayy too attached to this fic ^^; ) but I'm begging for a happy ending here. That part I quoted from your fic is really making me worried.*chew on nails nervously* Next chapter please!

This story gets better and better, if that's even possible after an excellent beginning. I'm anxious to learn the fate of both Duo and Heero. Will they make it to the sentencing hearing? Will the judge listen without prejudice? Can there possibly be a happy ending to this story? You know I'll be checking frequently for updates to find out.

Just thought I'd let you know again that I find this fic very addictive and am delighted with your frequent updates. I love your Duo and Heero b/c they're just wonderful together. OMG, I am just shaking in my seat... I'm so angry, indingent, shocked, apprehensive, excited, and a whole lot of other emotion that I just can't describe right now.... What's gonna happen?!?!? Is what Heero going to do, gonna help Duo!?! I hope all those prejudice ... fools(the Peacecrafts and all those other bigots) get what they deserve! Though I doubt that justice will be served to everyone but I hope that the people(important and unimportant) will get a reality slap and realize that Nekos are beings too and deserve rights as well as anyone! It's horrible, because I just can't stand narrow-minded, ignorant, prejudice people... but they have the audacity to even claim a fair trial that goes against their constitution... didn't they create the Neko's so now that they are actually doing what they want, the other "normal" people want them to be held back! GeEz.... I can't stand people like this. America should be a land of opportunity, freedom, and... all that other pretty stuff and it's like those people went back to the old racist ways... OMG!!!! This fic's people's hatred for those Nekos are really bothering me on a wha.... moral level?... but yeah... I hope things turn out for the best... I love it!! I love this story, not only because it's my favourite pairing and genre, but the plot really strikes deep. You've well illustrated discrimination and the hurt of one left to avenge his family, if not his race. It's sad that Duo had to deal with everything, but I thought it was sadder for Heero to feel helpless to do anything. I feel that depite the whole Neko thing, you've really well captured reality, and that's the true angst behind it all.

I'm very happy to hear that future chapters will be longer. In fact I wouldn't mind that this whole story becomes a lot longer than 22 parts. I like the little teddy bear scene in the ambulance, it's a nice touch. Heero jumping out of the limousine to go help Duo was my favourite scene! I was all excited until the security/bodyguard person caught him and knocked him out.~winces~ Please update soon because I'm so very worried about Duo!

You know I'm surprised that you aren't getting more reviews for this fic. This Heero/Duo AU story is a lot more creative than some of the other more 'popular' (as in more reviews) fics I've read. I want to express my appreciation at your wonderful characterization. Although Duo is the neko who suffered abuse in the past, he's a stubborn MALE instead of a cute, pathetic little creature in need of rescue from Heero like in some neko fics. And I like the way you're handling Heero's character in this AU setting. He is naive, but still very Heero-like, just not a soldier. As for ch.16, the revealation of Duo's secret was very intense, and the kissing at the end was touching.~tears at the corner of my eyes~

OH MAN!!! He kissed and I can't believe that Heero really didn't know!! please I had hoped that his response would be better!!! I knew that Relena's father was responsible for the extermination of the Nekos that consequently turned out to be Duo's family, just by her behavior and words '"My father is going to get rid off them. He's a good leader, and because of him we'll all be safe to let our children play outside again."' Calling Neekos 'things' they are living breathing beings with intelligence gosh... and think this all happen in America?! You've touched on and revealed the truth that the so called 'American' public often does to anyone different than they are, they react with hatred to difference and demean their intelligence because of this. Now this does not mean all Americans do this 'cuz i'm one ya know, The America of the people would reflect the multitude of difference that lives in this country but it doesn't.. *sigh* I think i'm heading toward a justice rant and an explanation of the blant descriminatory/prejudice/feign ignorance that lies with people of power. So I'll stop there and say wonderful JOB!!! I love it and I SOOO knew that Duo kissed Heero a bit harder to distract him from the needle. SO he's going to try to reason with Peacecraft and hopefully he won't have to whip out his gun to defend himself... but I don't think he needs it. He's a very skilled individual.
