this fic was amazing. you're a truly talented author, with the ability to move, amuse and entertain all in one story. simply wonderful writing, honestly. i don't know why more people don't read your works. you certainly deserve our praise.

Great fanfiction, one of the best I have ever read, even though no Sesshoumaru pairings take place. I kept hoping till the end that he'll hook up with the Seer or something...*sigh* And now you got me all curious about the effect "the crunchy brown stuff" would have on the all mighty calm and collected self centered...you know who I mean :) Well, again, GREAT work and I hope there's more on the way! I've stopped reading to write this review: the part where Sesshoumaru speaks is absolutely breathtaking. Okay, I'm resuming the reading now :)

Arg! i'm vaquely and utterly hating you now. One, becuuse you got me obsessed with the story in the first place, second, because that was the one of the best fics i have read in my short attention expansion towards other fics, three, you made Sesshoumaru look like a complete and utter idiot/greedy/MEAN (which he is, but in a good way to hard to describe). And i'm pretty sure Kagome and Inuyasha would no doubt make a great coulple ^^. I'm sure Sesshoumaru will live happinly ever after with his awsome palace and his "friends". In the end everything works out, but in the wrong way. Reiyama is Tokyo? that's fine with me, just weirded out slightly. I'm probably to obsessed with the story that i'll probably and most likely read it again, and it's all your FAULT!!! stupid obsession and it's stupid antics upon my life...sigh. Anyways, wonderous story, it deserved that IY something, go you and keep it up i suppose ^^!!!

AUGH, I hate you!!! (Don't stop reading!) I read the first story, so I could read this one, and during the last four chapters, all I did was bite my nails and curse! I couldn't even get up to smoke! You, my friend, are an amazing writer. And you like making lists, which is what I do for fun when I'm not writing. Do you know it's actually a symptom of being mentally unstable? Cool, huh? Anyway, I just wanted to review, because I never got reviews on my own personal website, and being on here has clued me in on how much they ROCK. But seriously, I've found a few stories I really like on here. Yours, however, is now my favorite. Now... I will finally go smoke.

I must say that I tore through both stories in this... series (does two constitute a series?) within a half-day. Two words: absolutely inspirational! Really, they had some of the most creative and well-thought out plots and original characters that I've ever come across in the Inuyasha fandom, and the fight scenes... wow... especially the one between transforming Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru on the ruined mountain: BRILLIANT! Seriously. You did an awesome job, and it kind of saddens me that there won't be another continuation, but all good things must end at some point, and as long as you continue writing, I'll be a happy girl. :D Well, I'll even be happy if you don't, because these two have been added to my favorites and I can visit back to them at any time... as long as you don't remove them and the site still remains, that is. :D Thanks so much for writing this story and its predecessor, you certainly deserve the kudos and I hope more people let you know how much they enjoyed it as well. I'll definitely keep coming back to read your new Inuyasha works and comment on them as well.

I've enjoyed every word of this story! I couldn't pin point my favorite part, although IY on caffeine is pretty high up there. ^_^ I love how you've handled each character, and I'm especially impressed with your Sesshoumaru. He's a tricky one...

your story is fantastic. i feel like it is part of the real story. i love it. but when are you gona up-date? i don't wana pressure you or any of that sh1t or stuff like that. i realize that u have a life. and it helps that your chapters are super duper long. but sirousely, if you get the urge to up-date or write some more er some thing, go with it. please for my sanity. thanks for writing, you kick some bad @$$. your faithfull reader who has finaly cought up to u, u right lots u no

Something I didn't mention in my review on that other site: I love how you're characterizing Kagome. She's not quite as fatalistic as Inuyasha, and doesn't accept that Suiton's words about the arrows necessarily has to mean the two brother's deaths. Or at least that's how I see it. Also Jaken rules. Afraid of hitting Rin with a blast from the Staff of Heads, right. :)

(AKA momcitrus on mediaminer, but I'm too lazy to sign in.) Well. Having read up through the last chapter posted thus far (Raiiru, part 2), I'm simply stunned. I'm not sure what to think about a physics grad student who writes epic prose with the best of 'em. You've definitely succeeded in creating a compelling world here- using the Takahashi characters as a starting point, I think you've transformed her simple manga storyline into something much more sweeping and powerful. Boy, I kinda regret starting this, knowing that you may never be able to complete it due to the demands of school, a possible published original novel, etc. Thanks for sharing your considerable talents and best of luck in all your future endeavors. -Cheryl

Ooh, I'm halfway into the first chapter, and already I feel compelled to write ANOTHER review. It seems to me that your literary skills have grown in leaps and bounds from the beginning of "Bearers of the Shards", up through this...well, you're just amazing...Anyway, I'm guessing that the last line of Midoriko's prophecy is refering to the Shikon Jewel; I'll have to keep reading all night to find out, won't I? I just hope this isn't another one of those never-finished fanfics, since I tend to read all EXCELLENT books without pause....no chance of getting this as PDF, I suppose?

I'm doing a pre-read review because I simply can't believe that with all the page hits you have on your stories, you've only received a handful of reviews. UNFAIR!! Honestly, I'd PAY for your stuff in book form. It's worthy of a feature length anime! And I agree with your own opinion that you've tried very hard to stay in-character with your dialogue, etc. It works for me, even the fact that you strayed so far away from canon (what with inventing a whole backstory of Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru's childhood). The "history" is inventive, brilliantly told and fits well with Takahasi's original story. So, I mainly want to say thanks for a job well done. I'll be writing up another critique when I'm done reading this one.
