Breaks for them all, really - for all the closeness and affection, in so many ways they are all struggling alone. I do notice, though, that Brad's nightmare setting was very similar to the one Schuldig had two chapters ago, the one he woke from screaming. Does Rosenkreuz have dream projectors? Or is Brad leaking things on such a subtle level that it's surfacing in Schuldig's dreams? But then, Brad wasn't with Schuldig durring that nightmare - unless he was close and unknown, or this was something Schuldig had picked up previously and had been stewing in his head since. Or something else I'm not aware of yet. I am so looking forward to the LJ move - your responses to comments give such insight.

Comment/Review: gosh, this is just so.... I feel so sorry for Schu (sidetrack: I love that you write all of this in his p.o.v. And you do him so bloody well!) where was I..? oh. I feel sorry for him because of how Brad is treating him. yes, out of neccessity, but when they are together, can't he be a little bit more tender? gods, I ache. *pets SchuSchu* I sat hoping you'd bring Schu and Nagi back to Japan during this chapter. a little Yotan lovin' is never wrong. and thinking back to their conversation in Yohji's car about Nagi and his problems, mayhaps Yohji would be good for Nagi too? *wink* anyways, enough babbling. you're doing a great job with this and I keep checking here for updates all the time. I'll also follow you over to your own site when you move. ^_^ thanks for a wondful story! *grabs Schu, smooches him*
| Reviewed By: Lodrelhai On: July 15, 2005 12:38 CDT Comment/Review: You do realize you are giving me heart attacks every time Brad denies Schuldig's claims of love, don't you? Poor Schu, bronchitis sucks majorly. I used to get it every March when I was a kid, and to this day my mom still denies that the smoking in the house had anything to do with it (not me smoking, parental units). Of course, it sucks doubly for him because he's pretty much quit smoking, and NOW he gets the nasty stuff. The brief appearance of tears is another panic-enducer, by the way. So tempted to brush it off as just the not-blinking... but you've already proven both you're more evil than that and you don't put things in just for atmosphere. I can't wait until you get this to the LJ, so I can hope for replies to comments. Even though they're probably going to be no comfort whatsoever. ^_^

I was planning on making them for breakfast tomorrow, now I don't know if I'll be able to keep a straight face long enough to cook them. Or how I'll explain the snickering to my roommates. (Poor things aren't anime fans, and think my taste for yaoi is nuts.) Love this chapter. Love the whole story, not to mention the whole arc, but this is just way too much fun. And all the talk of pancakes put me in mind of a pic a friend found on the internet. http://bcm.maz.org/archives/pancake%20bunny.jpg

Reviewed By: Bombayoni [MediaMiner Member] On: July 05, 2005 23:49 CDT Comment/Review: i like that you don't think of Farfarello as nothing but a blood loving freak with a God-complex... He is much more intelligent... Do you know about the Society for the Protection of Farfarello's intelligence?

They are such fun people. It's great that it's so characture driven, they are so much more human that way. And they're not so sterio-typical either. Farfarello is freaking me out, but I guess that Biblical prophacy and Far don't mix well. It's fantasticim portayed as something al little more complex than a dribbling maniac. This is very addictive, so please don't leave us hanging for too long....

Do you have any idea what a brilliant, disturbed, beautiful portrait you've painted of the Schwarz men? I swear this is the first time I've read anything in depth about Farfarello. Most fics have him very one-dimentional. You've made him human - admittedly a very deranged one - and I love it. You've made all of them human. This is one of two fics in which I've had any sympathy for the Schwarz men. The in-depth notes on your site add incredibly to the insights you offer in the fic. I find myself completely sympathizing with Schuldig, hoping he finds some peace and stability - preferrably with Crawford, but that's my own prejudice. Chapter 63 was a complete surprise, nothing like I expected it to be - and yet it makes perfect sense when you consider the contributions of a certain mad Irishman. I do hope the self-confidence Nagi's starting to show is something from within and not rehearsed. And I can't wait for what comes next!

Your writing of Farfello is terrific, and frightening. Seeing the bits and pieces that he puts together, and where they might lead while never being certain what might simply be fantasy -- it is a wonderfully complex portrait you've given us.

Just stopped to correct your computer stuff -- hardrives don't have motherboards and memory chips inside them, and the motherboard and memory chip for the computer wouldn't have any data anyway. What he'd want is to destroy the disk inside the hardrive (looks like a thick metal cd) -- which actually won't destroy 100% of the data 100% of the time. The most secure way to destroy data on a hd is to zero it out -- but barring that, tossing the disc in the ocean would probably result in it being sufficiently lost. Okay i'm gonna keep reading now. ^_^

And to have such an epifany, he needed it! Now maybe he can go on with a much better life... Update soon, ok? I can't wait to see what else you have in store for them all!
| Reviewed By: melaniesoong [MediaMiner Member] On: March 25, 2005 07:38 CST Comment/Review: Hi, I haven't reviewed in a while, mainly because I had to study for an important exam and couldn't risk distractions especially if they were in the form of a wonderful and so very very long fic. But now I've finally read all chapters that are out, and damn, they're good. ^_^ The Schuldig/Yohji dynamic is so delicious, but I feel really bad for poor, even though no longer blind, Crawford. I'm really torn between hoping for more Yohji in this fic and for Schuldig and Crawford to finally figure out what Rosenkreuz did to them that holds them back and to overcome that. Thanks so much for this great fic!
