I was about to say, 'Don't die Sesshomaru!' Well, I'm glad he didn't. This was another great chapter to a great fic. But, I would have to agree with WiccanMethuselah. The one with Sesshomaru being stabbed and all that.

I'm curious ... if the wound to Sesshoumaru went through his chest, then Hideki proceeded to twist the sword around while it was still in the chest cavity, wouldn't the paramount consideration be Sesshoumaru's LIFE, rather than just his safety??? I mean, surely he's losing a lot of blood during the whole Kagome frying Hideki's ass routine, isn't he? Even in the short amount of time it took her to fry Hideki, it still seems like Sesshoumaru would be on the verge of death. Sorry to be picky, but that was one of the few (VERY FEW) things that just didn't make any sense in this ENTIRE fic. Other than that, I think this is rather well-written and I am enjoying the twists and turns as you bring this fic to (hopefully) a satisfactory close. Thanks so much for sharing your creative 'baby' with the rest of us!

I'm glad Sesshomaru realized his mistake before he took it too far and seriously injured Kagome. Figures she's so forgiving, but it works out nicely. She kicked some major ass this chapter, which was way cool. I can't wait to see what happens next. Hopefully she'll be able to save Sesshomaru.

Well that was intense. Why do the Inu boys always jump to conclusions. I would have thought Sesshoumaru would be emune. But alas, that is not the case. Poor Kagome. But I am glad that Hiten knocked some sense into him. And now that the evil lord is dispatch, will things return to peacefull times again? Hope so, later.

I love long chapters, but at the same time...short ones make me feel SO much better about procrastinating! I guess what I'm trying to say is that either one works well and it should be whatever feels right to you. Thanks for a wonderful chapter. I especially liked the fight scene. Well done.

Definitely better. More time to build up the cliffhanger. I hope Sesshomaru didn't see Kagome being kissed by Hitan. Or if he did, I hope he doesn't think she wanted it. I mean, she loves Sesshomaru, plus she's very weak from the fight. I can't wait to see what's going to happen next.

I'm glad to hear it. Don't worry about rambling. It's not rambling as long as what you're saying makes a little bit of sense. I'm guilty of that myself. I think Kagome really needs to listen to her gut on this. If she's having doubts, then it's probably not a good idea to leave the palace and start something. If she leaves, then who's going to protect Rin? The Southern Lord might take Rin instead, and that wouldn't be good. Unless Kagome leaves and does some serious butt kicking, then it's all good. Hey, why not some divine intervention if things get a bit hairy?? Her friends are dead, so they can jump in a bit I think. I think it's cool that Kagome's pregnant. Damn, that was fast. Although, it's not exactly stated how many times they've mated...
