Wow, that was a trip of a chapter! You were right about a whole bunch of stuff happening all at once, but I think it works. It wasn't confusing, just fast-paced. Really, it's weird to think that the last several chapters have all taken place in the space of what, an hour or two? Okay, first off, awesome chapter title! I know I said I was enjoying them, but this one was just perfect! Inuyasha telling her how to think like a youkai just floored me...again! It gave me a thrill up the spine the first time around, and I'm amazed that the rerun affected me just as much. And his comment about humans being "stupid about mating" was classic! I sure hope the forging of the Living Jewel wasn't supposed to end up like that, though, and that you get them straightened out pretty soon. Kagome doesn't strike me as the type to enjoy dominating her friends (maybe Inuyasha, just once in awhile, ha ha). Something about the scenes of Kensei creep me out a little bit. I'm not sure what it is, but the way you've described his existence gives me the willies. Maybe it's got to do with the room full of nearly-lifeless family and friends... Oh, and you should probably know that the Kai-wolves have ingratiated themselves with me, and if you really did hurt Jinx like it sounded like you did toward the end there, I'm going to be a little upset. As it was I nearly cried when Runt was killed. Thanks to something you said, I've got a little inkling of an idea about what the heck is going on with Kanna, but I guess time will tell! I'm glad you figured out where you're going with the story enough to post a new chapter, but really, I'm willing to wait as long as it takes--as long as it's not forever, right? ^.^ Again, fantastic chapter!

As always the chapter was well worth the wait. I have gone back and read the story again to keep it fresh in my mind and I always seem to find something that I missed before. The more I read this story the more I appreciate how complex and in depth the characters are. Your writing style flows exceptionally well and when I read your story I can see what's happening. To me the hallmark of a good writer is that they transport you into their story and you forget that you are reading...you are experiencing the story. Your writing does that. I hope that you have many more stories left to write!! I am eagerly awaiting the next installment....they are always well worth the wait.

Loved the new chapter. I can't wait to see the conclusion, but take your time. Those of us who love the story will wait patiently for the rest. Sorry to hear you've been having a time of it. I've been in the same boat recently, so I can totally commiserate. I certainly hope things resolve themselves to your satisfaction. At least you can joke through it and give us cute little alternate endings. Sometimes it's either laugh or cry, so why not laugh your ass off? Am so glad you decided to continue with Facets. Its a very good story... excellent actually. ;) It is no easy task putting out a chapter such as this. So I do appreciate the effort you put into each and every one. And also love the silly bunnies that tend to get loose, lol. On a more serious note, Ill be saying a prayer for you and yours. RL just hasn't been kind to many as of late it seems. Update if/when ya can. ;)

Whew! I just read that whole monster in two days, and just...wow! What a story! I'm on the edge of my seat here, and maybe I'm luckier than the readers that have been with you from the beginning, but I still can't wait until you post again! I am so intrigued by Kanna's role in all this, I can't even describe it. And maybe you addressed this, but I thought that Naraku had killed Mouryoumaru--does your story incorporate that, or does the divergence happen before that point? If not, how the heck is he alive? Where is Naraku, for that matter? He's been conspicuously absent through all this, and now we see two of his incarnations out to get him. Kanna was the place on the battlefield that was so still to Midoriko, wasn't she? I wish I understood her motivations (as do the entire Inuyasha crew, I'm sure!). Is Souta going to be able to find his way back, and will Kagome be able to help him? I know she realized it was him, but she has more pressing matters right in front of her that need to be addressed, hm? (And that reminds me, you have quite the talent for subtlety, let me tell you!) I was definitely surprised (but pleased) to see Kirara swallowing the neko pride (not Pride, but pride!) to bring Sesshoumaru around, and I think his response was admirable, considering the chaos. Damn, but I hope they all come through this in one piece! Oh! And it's been a long time and my Latin is very rusty, but I am absolutely loving your chapter titles! Excellent story and I hope you update soon!

Oh wow! I am not getting notifications of your updates. That was a great battle scene and I enjoyed how you took the point of view of Midoriko without getting involved in the minds of the others. It gave a clear vision of the battle. Everyone participated valiantly. Everything seemed to have come together so well. Sesshoumaru learned that he had something to protect, Housenki matured enough to participate, Kirara (though unknowingly) has given herself to Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha has finally gained his brother's acceptance, Midoriko finally found a solid purpose. The battle scene was well done. I'm sure that there is more that I have not mentioned. Where is the hawk?......Being a Sesshoumaru fan, I loved the way that you had him working toward protecting the others. In the end, he even gave in to becoming a part of the living jewel. Talk about a turn around! This was a very meaty chapter. Very satisfying. I know that it isn't over and am so anxious to see the next chapter! Go you! Awesome job! ^_^ Snow

I am quite literally sitting on the edge of my computer chair as I read this latest chapter. The action is so fast paced that I had to re-read some sections to understand what was going on. (mainly because I was reading it too fast to get to see what was going on ::sigh::) Kohaku/Souta's inclusion in these last two chapters has been amazingly wonderful. I felt kinda bad for Souta, with his big sister being able to do all this really cool stuff and he could only listen. I also love the continuing interaction between Kirara and Sess. Thanks so much for writing for us.

I try to rate fanfics fairly, but its difficult when its positivley the best fic I've ever read! Your an awesome writer, and I can't wait for the next chapter! Wow! What an action scene. So much going on all at once, but you never skip a beat. That has to have been the single best action scene I've ever read. I'm so jealous. Loved the interaction with Sesshomaru & Kirara, by the way. It doesn't matter what species, the females are always wiser. *ducks all sorts of rotten veggies*
