i agree with the left (his right) shoulder being a bit low and perhaps the claw on the thumb looks long. other than that, you know i love your drawing style. good work on the coloring. while the colors aren't bold, i like the soft look to the picture. you have to teach me...please!?!?!?!

I hope you can take constructive criticism, but its necessary to get a true opinion on things. 2 on originality. Anime looks pretty much the same every time. Drawing skill - 7, lines aren't clearly defined. i.e. facial definition, necklace. Medium - 7, perhaps a different medium would help clarify the piece. Or a more simplistic approach overall, bold colors, fine lines, etc. Overall - 7, you have still much to learn, but the important thing is to never give up. Determination and Persistence are the only two key ingredients you need to succeed.

One of the best young artists I have seen in a while. While there are a couple of minor imperfections, this piece goes beyond what the average fan can do.

Possible title: The Weight on His Shoulder - it not only refers to the sword over his shoulder but of the responsibility wielding it entails. Now on to the image. First if it were 100 x 200 and 8kb it would fall into avatar/signature size. This image is in no danger of being removed (says the person who does the removing). The style is nice, you have a good beginning for computer art. I see a lot of pixelation around the line art, most of the time this happens when the artist colours around the lines instead of making the art in layers. Learn layers. The shoulder under the sword is a little low for the pose. His eyes are a little small, but neither is enough to spoil the image. I will watch for more images from you, I am sure you will improve with each one. Thank the friend who got you to post this, she was right.~Fanilia
