Death & Destruction Part 1

"I'm sorry we failed master, but she is very powerful!" Hiroki bowed to their leader.

"Yes I know, but every person has a weakness even her. Now that her father is gone she will be mourning & thus off guard. This is the perfect time to attack!"

"I see, & what about her two guardians & those girls that came out of nowhere?" Li asked.

"They are nothing, but obstacles Chang-Li."

"So do you want us to try & capture Kari now or later? Cause my back is aching. She hit me harder than a riot at the market!"

"Hm...it seems that she can handle the cards better than her father. Li took him out no problem!"

"Li-chan Hiroki-chan wait a while & then try. The negaverse is uprising again." The leader instructed the two.

"Yes master I will have that little girl no matter what!" Li bowed.

"I'm with Li master. I'll have those guardians' heads!" Hiroki bowed as well & they both disappeared

"Soon, so very soon we'll have the DNA mix that will make our family stronger & superior to anyone. We will rule the nations ha...ha...ha....ha...ha!"

After her fathers funeral Kari decided to live on the moon with Serena & Queen Serenity. Their entire kingdom felt sorry for her especially after they had seen Clow at the royal parties & events. They really liked him & comforted Kari in her great loss.

The other princesses made regular visits to her & brought her baby things for her unborn child.

One day a maid had brought Kari something to eat since she confined herself to her room.

"Miss Kari here is your food."

"I'm not hungry!" Kari looked sad & depressed.

"But you said that yesterday miss. You have to eat or you & your baby will get sick!" the maid said greatly concerned.

"How did you know about my baby?!" She snapped

"P-princess Serena t-told me. I'm sorry for being rude ma'am!"

"Well I don't care what happens to a baby or anyone else. Just go away, leave me alone!" Kari shouted in tears.

The maid turned & left.

"What, what do you mean she won't eat!" Princess Serena & her mother Serenity were shocked at Kari's behavior.

“She refused the food I took her two days in a row your majesty.”

"Don't worry about it. I'll go talk to her." Serena said.

“I will as well Serena.” Queen Serenity started to get up.

“But she won't let anyone in her quarters your majesty. She even locked her own husband out & that lion beast, Keroberos!”

"Oh she's going to let us in. Let us go Serena before something bad happens to the poor thing." Queen Serenity moved towards the exit of the throne room Serena followed.

"OK mother, thank you Mrs. Miaka!" Princess Serena bowed & hurried behind her mother. She was super shocked that Kari didn't care about her child, her & Yue's child. She just wasn't that type of person.

A soft knock was herd at Kari's bedroom door.

“Who is it?” Kari asked.

“Me & Serena Kari open the door now or I'll have to use force!” The great queen threatened to Kari's surprise.

“Grandma Serenity!?” Kari quickly jumped up & opened the massive doors.

“Thank you, now sit we need to talk honey.” She wrapped an arm around Kari's shoulder & led her to a chair by the fireplace.

"Dear why won't you eat anything?" She asked softly.

"Because I don't want any food." Kari looked into the spiting flames knowing that wasn't the truth.

"Kari I know you're going through a horrible pain & you're severely broken & depressed, but please you'll kill your baby."

"I don't care about a baby. They aren't here to help me take care of it."

"But why should that matter you're very capable of anything. This little one inside you shouldn't be destroyed because of the absence of your birth parents. You have Amy, Michelle, Mina, Amara, Lita, Trista, Rei, Hotaru, Serena, Endymione, Yue, Kero, & me. We'll help you through this Kari."

She hugged Kari tightly.

"Kari I promise I'll take care of you & give you everything you need. I love you" piped in Serena.

“Yes I know Serena. I know how much you all love me, but this pain won't go away” Kari began to cry again & the two royalties embraced her.

“Of course that pain will take a while to disappear, but think about how happy it is to have a baby & the joy of knowing so many people love you & hold you in high thoughts.” Queen Serenity rubbed the girls back gently.

“I bet tomorrow nights party will make you feel better. Why don't you come with me?” Serena offered.

Kari wiped her remaining tears “ok I'll go Serena.” She smiled brightly after her weeks of mourning.
