Questionable Love

A dark figure scampered from the stables to the tree beside the house that was a few feet off and scurried up the tree and watched as a guard passed below. Jumping down she heard hoof beats of a horse and dived for cover as a carriage passed. Tomoyo, who was the figure in black, let out a sigh of relief. She got up and dashed over to the town inn.

"Lady Sakura, lady Sakura." Tomoyo hissed. Trying to get her best friends attention.

"Not so loud." She heard, "And how many times do I have to tell you to call me Sakura." A very annoyed Sakura shot back.

"But Lady Sakura is SOOOOOO KAWAII." Tomoyo responded starry-eyed.

"Hoooooeeeee!!??" Sakura sweat dropped. Recovering Sakura asked, "Did you get the horse?"

"Yes, I got the horses." Tomoyo answered, " I am coming with you and no way I am missing this part of your life because there are too many sketching opportunities."

"Ok, just help me out of this window." Sakura hissed at her.

Ten minutes later, they were in the stable out of breath.

"I don't know why my brother insisted on guards," Sakura complained, " I mean they don't protect me; they only get in the way when I … oh." A look of realization passed over her face.

"Come on, we have to get out of here." Tomoyo ordered climbing onto her horse as Sakura followed her. They galloped out of the town and into trouble a usual.

"Sakura!" Touya yelled walking in to his sister's room. "Time to wake … SAKURA!" Touya yelled as he noticed his sister was gone. "Yukito get the guards and tell them to line up I need to talk to them." Touya ordered the captain of the guards, who was his best friend, fuming. `How the hell could she get past the guards' Touya wondered. Then he noticed a note and picked it up reading it.

`'Dear brother,

I love you and if you are reading this then I have escaped this prison that you have guaranteed me a future in it. I love you but I could not of survived in that place for a long time. So I decided to take fate into my own hands, please do not be angry at me for I am doing what Papa has advised us so often before his untimely death. "Follow your heart for it will always lead you to happiness if you don't loss faith." I took Mama's fans and a unique book that Papa told me to protect, The Clow. I will return after I have found what I'm looking for. Please honor my request and do not search for me also tell the prince that I was lost at sea. That will focus the search to the east, which I will avoid, at all cost. Do not fear for my safety for Lady Tomoyo is accompanying me and we will be just fine. Your sister Love Sakura

Touya shook his head "Sakura you don't know the importance of the decision you have just made, Be careful and there is no way I'm letting my little monster live alone.' He turned around to see the guards lined up in attention and addressed them.

"The Princess Sakura has run away it is your duty to your country to find her I have information that she is moving inland thus that is where we will search now what are you all waiting for fine her!"
