"BUUUUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Pan shot out of bed. She looked over to where the annoying noise was coming from, leaning over and shutting off her alarm clock. 11 o'clock AM. Time to get up. When Pan wanted to sleep late, she slept late. She had to be at the party in an hour. Suddenly a knock came from her bedroom door.
"Pan, honey? Are you up yet?" Her mother's muffled voice came from the door.
Pan rubbed her eyes and yawned. "Yeah mom, I'm up!"
"Well hurry up honey! The party is going to start soon!"
"Yeah, yeah, alright!"
With those final words, she flopped right back down onto her pillow and fell back asleep.
"ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz........."

"Pan! Pan!! Get up!!!" Videl shook her daughter, waking her up.
"Mmm...hmm? Wha...?"
Videl looked at Pan sternly. "Pan I thought you were getting ready! The party starts in 5 minutes!" Pan sprung out of bed.
"ACK! Are you serious? Oh, mom, I'm so sorry! Listen, you and dad go ahead, I'll get ready right now! It'll only take me 20 minutes! Go on!"
Videl stared at Pan. "Are you sure? Do you give me your word?"
Pan smiled at her mother, holding up her right hand and holding her left one to her heart. "Saiyajin's Honor!"
Videl chuckled lightly and gave her daughter a kiss on the cheek. "Well, alright then. But I better see you there before 1, you hear? It's rude to be late!"
"Mom, haven't you ever heard of the term "fashionably late"?"
Videl glared at her daughter.
"Eek, okay, okay, I get the message. I'll be there! Don't worry!" Giving her mother a reassuring smile, Videl headed out of her room. Shortly after Pan heard a car start up, then drive away. She quick grabbed her towels and headed into the bathroom.

The party was coming along nicely, and most everyone was there, including Krillin and 18, Goku and ChiChi, Goten and Marron, Bra, Piccolo, EVERYONE! Even Vegeta, though he just sort of leaned back in a chair away from everyone, arms crossed with a stern expression on his face, as always. Trunks looked around, wearing a casual pair of jeans and a black T-shirt. His lavender hair moved as he gazed over the party. He knew SOMEONE was missing, but he couldn't quite think of who. Just as he thought that, out of the sky came a small figure, becoming more noticeable as it came closer. Everyone soon noticed it, looking up towards it. Soon enough, in came Pan, blasting forward in the sky, stopping in mid-air right over the party, then slowly floating down to the ground. She was wearing a pair of short black jean shorts and a red T-shirt, showing off her stomach, and her classic trademark, the orange bandana. She smiled around as everyone stared at her.
"Uh...sorry I'm late?" She gulped as her parents shot her a look. "I slept late! And... I would've been longer if I drove...so...I flew!"
Everyone laughed. Well, everyone except Piccolo and Vegeta, Piccolo just smiling a bit, and Vegeta...well, still with the same expression on his face.
Trunks couldn't believe his eyes. Was this Pan? Little Pan-chan, who he knew so long ago, who he hadn't seen in 5 years (being the very busy president of Capsule Corporation that he was...), was this really her? From the little tomboy, to the full-grown woman, Pan's beauty overwhelmed the handsome young saiyan man. As soon as the small crowd of people welcoming the "fashionably late" girl disappeared, Trunks came over to greet Pan himself.
"Pan! Pan, is that really you?" Trunks said as he gave her a hug. Pan giggled a bit as she returned the hug.
"Yeah, it's me alright. Wow, look at you Trunks! You got...you got...old...really old...you're an old man..." She snickered as she saw the expression on Trunks face, his eyes narrowed down, giving her a light punch in her arm.
"I'm kidding...only kidding..." she laughed. "So, how are you? Still single, are we?"
Trunks smiled a bit, chuckling. "Yeah, yeah, still single."
Pan laughed, walking with Trunks over to a quieter corner of the yard, sitting down in a chair, Trunks taking the seat next to her. "God, you're, what, 33 now? How much longer are ya gonna wait?? You're not getting any younger, ya know."
"Yeah, yeah, I know, I know!!! Will ya stop it already? Sheesh, between you and my mom, and my father! Him with his "When are you going to find a mate so we can have an heir to the Saiyan crown?" and all this annoying shit, blah blah blah..." Trunks and Pan laughed.
"Okay, okay, I'll stop. Besides, I'm not one to talk myself..."
Trunks's eyes widened a bit. "You? You're not seeing anyone?"
Pan shook her head "no" in response. "Nope, not yet."
"Why?"
"Men are asses."
Trunks smirked. "Gee, thanks."
"Well, it's true!! Every guy I've dated are all after one thing..."
Trunks raised an eyebrow. "Sex?"
Pan rolled her eyes. "Okay, yeah, that too, but I was actually talking about money. What with being the granddaughter of the great Mr. Satan and all, and living this life, having the inheritance, you know? It's quite annoying."
Trunks nodded. "I know what you mean. That's the reason Bra divorced that asshole she was married to. She was so heartbroken."
Pan sighed. "Yeah I know, maybe we're all better off this way, staying single...."
The two Saiyans sighed deeply. Pan looked at Trunks at that moment as he leaned back in his chair and stared up at the sky, watching the clouds pass by slowly with his deep blue eyes. She couldn't help but notice how handsome he looked, his eyes, that color blue that they were, how when you stared into them you felt your heart skip a beat...his light lavender hair, the way it was cut into that mushroom cut of his, how those two single strands always were out of place hanging into his eyes and yet, just gave him this look, just made him look so drop dead gorgeous. He still looked so young, as if he were still in his early twenties...
"Pan...Pan?"
Pan snapped out of her trance. She turned a slight shade of red as she found Trunks staring into her eyes, realizing he found out she was staring at him.
It appeared she still didn't get over her little "crush" that she had on him so long ago...
"Uhh...hi?"
Trunks laughed. "What were you staring at?"
Pan felt her cheeks get hot. "Uhh...just...um...I was...uhh..."
"Hey you two! We're gonna have a little sparring tournament! You wanna be in it?" called Goku from the other end of the yard. Both Pan and Trunks looked up. Pan jumped up and smiled.
"I do!" she said as she ran over to Goku. She hugged him, Goku slightly surprised, smiling a big smile as he returned the hug to his granddaughter, whom he loved so much. Pan whispered in his ear before she broke away from him..."Grandpa, you're a life savor..."
"Huh?" Goku murmured, puzzled. Pan chuckled.
"Nevermind. Come on! I haven't sparred in a long time!" She looked over at Trunks, who was still sitting in his chair. "Well what are you just sitting there for? Come on Trunks, afraid I'm gonna kick your ass?"
Trunks laughed and got up. "Yeah, right, whatever you say Pan-chan..."
Pan glared. "Don't call me that! I'm not a little girl anymore!"
Trunks looked at Pan, surprised. "Sorry, I didn't realize you didn't liked to be called that..."
"I NEVER liked being called "Pan-chan", remember?" She said, smacking her hand into the back of Trunks's head like she did whenever he called her that, just like she did when he called her that years ago when she was just 14...
"Oww! Yeah, I remember! I remember!" he whined, rubbing his head.
"You're such a baby and I am so gonna kill you in this tournament..." Pan giggled, grabbing his hand and dragging him towards Goku and the others as they all walked into the house. They all were heading towards the indoor arena that the Briefs had made especially for training and sparring tournaments. "Come on, let's go!"
