Chapter Eleven
Battling Emotions
BULMA could not control her emotions any longer! They were over flowing from every part of her being. Her pain and her anger needed an outlet.
"Bulma?" Vegeta's uncertain voice called out to her in the darkness of the forest.
'And I have found the perfect person to take it all out on.' Bulma thought.
Planet Vegeta's moon was only visible once every eight years. Therefore the planet was not blessed with moonlight making the nights as black as coal.
Bulma powered up so her energy could illuminate the darkness and Vegeta could sense her presence easily.
She waited until he was within arms reach. She then flew at him with all her pent up rage. She had caught him of guard and her fist made direct contact with his face before he flew a few paces away from her, landing on the ground.
"What the hell are you doing woman?" Vegeta growled as he held his face, while flexing his jaw as if to test if it was all still intact, before getting to his feet. He glared at her. They could now see each other clearly from Bulma's aura of power.
"Oh come on Vegeta, it was just one punch. And for a Saiyan of your caliber a small hit from a girl like me should feel like a tickle." Bulma mocked him, placing a smirk just like his on her face.
He continued to glare at her as if he could not possibly understand why she was in such a rage.
Vegeta looked at Bulma while his mind fought a war between whether he should just blast her into oblivion and be done with it or grab her tightly, rip of all her clothes and take her right now! A very unusual situation for him, and although nine times out of ten he would go for option one, this one time he wanted to go for option two - desperately!
However, he had no chance to do either as she charged at him again.
At least this time he was prepared for her. He managed to block almost every one of her punches and kicks. The only reason some blows had successfully made contact was because Vegeta was not only fighting her, he was fighting himself too!
Fighting to keep control and remember she was a woman who was not thinking clearly and that he could not retaliate! He would not strike her. And add that to the fact that she looked more desirable now than she had ever looked before, in her small pieces of garments, her hair flying everywhere and perspiration glistening against her creamy skin was a battle he was loosing miserably. She looked like one of the ancient Goddesses that were rumored to walk the universe centuries ago. Their heart stopping beauty only an outer cover for their wickedly intelligent minds and strong will power. 'Well she definitely fitted into those three catergories.' Vegeta smirked.
"What's wrong Vegeta?" Bulma panted as she pushed a few damp strands of her hair away from her face. "You can't possibly be tired from such little effort now." She continued to goad him. "Or maybe Vegeta, maybe you're just sacred! Is that it Vegeta? The mighty Prince of all Saiyans is a coward!" She spat venomously.
'That's it! The blasted woman has gone too far.' Vegeta thought.
Powering up to half his strength, as he had avoided doing so so far for the fear of hurting her, he waited until she was flying blindly towards him. He dematerialized from before her and rematerialized behind her grabbing both her arms from under her sides.
He held her hands up in a death grip, but still gently enough so as not to break her bones, and trapped her against his hard body.
'Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all.' Vegeta thought as he scrunched his face in concentration. She was struggling, unsuccessfully though, against him, her round bottom pressing against what would soon become an arousal as hard as rock.
"Let go of me you big bully." Bulma shouted.
"You don't want to play anymore." He whispered into her ear. He could still smell that scent that was uniquely hers, mingled with the sweat she had worked up. "Why? I thought we were having so much fun." He teased as he lowered his head to her neck. He heard her gasp as she leaned into him and exposed more of her silky soft neck to his mouth.
Vegeta could not resist, he licked at the drops of salty water from her bare neck.
Bulma moaned at the sweet torture his hot tongue created as it touched her bare skin. She used the position of her arms to wound it around Vegeta's neck, burying her fingers in his thick hair.
It was Vegeta's turn to moan as he felt her turn the defensive hold into a seductive caress. He lowered his hands to run down her slim abdomen and waist. He felt her shudder and then moved his hands ever so slowly to her full breasts.
They were firm and full and fit the palms of his hands as if they had been made for him. He felt as her nipples hardened straining against the thin material of her garment. The two small buds feeling as if they were burning a whole through his gloves.
"Vegeta." Bulma moaned. "I ..." She stuttered, taking in deep breaths to calm herself.
It was then that Vegeta opened his eyes, at the sound of her soft pleading voice and the way she so trustingly called out his name. His name. But she was not his! He looked down then and could see their reflection in the lake's water.
No! His mind screamed at him. Not only was she the mate of someone else but of a Saiyan and if that was not disastrous enough, she was emotionally and physically in no state to make any rational decisions now.
Vegeta thrust Bulma away from him. He saw her eyes fly open, their naturally bold shape more largely rounded. Surprise and confusion blurred with the unmistakable look of passion in those powerfully deep blue eyes. Why did it feel like she was looking into his being?
"You need to cool down." He said coldly with his classic smirk as he dumped her into the cool waters of the lake.
Bulma did not know what was worse, the fact that he had threw her into the lake or that he had rejected her as if she were an old toy that bored him.
The emotional roller coaster she had been on in the last couple of hours and the uncontrollable battle she had just taken part in finally took its toll on her.
Bulma sank into the depths of the water. As the coolness calmed her burning hot skin she let that feeling of calm take over her entire being as she closed her eyes. She did not think she could swim back up to the surface and at that point she did not think that she wanted to!
