Bikky was lucky when Friday came around, because Ryo had been put on a couple day raid of course, keeping Dee away as well. He picked out a nice pair of bleached, form fitting jeans, black boots and a tight, white tee. As he stood outside the same club they had met at the last time, Bikky became extremely nervous. What if he didn't want Bikky? What if it was someone else he'd wanted? Bikky didn't want to be humiliated in front of everyone. He didn't mind it when it was Carol, but, he now knew he'd never truely loved her but this was different. Lai was someone he had given an intimate kiss to, actually given control of that situation to. With Carol, he'd been in charge, but now, his role was switched, or so it seemed. So, here he was awaiting the face of his freind, preparing for the denial that would come. The ditching that would follow. He just wasn't sure if he could handle that kind of pain. A gasp left his lips as Bikky seen Lai coming his dark hair flowing in the slight breeze of the evening, his arms swinging at his sides. Bikky felt so nervous, he chickened out and ran into the club instead. He sat, now relaxing on a stool at the bar. Until hands cupped his shoulders. "Ha, found you, thought I never would in a crowd like this, but, your hair gives you away too easily." Lai's voice sounded from behind Bikky.

No escape from him this time, Bikky was forced to surrender. "Yeah, I knew you would, Lai." Bikky replied.

"Hmn? How'd you know my name?" Lai asked, before leaning in close enough to note the face.

"I'm Bikky, Lai, you know, your buddy?" Bikky replied.

"Oh, I thought you were someone else..." Lai replied.

"I am that someone else also, the someone else you dragged to Central Park and kissed and then said to meet here at this club like the last time, then ran off not even asking my name." Bikky replied.

"You mean.... You? I- You?" Lai managed to choke out.

Bikky closed his eyes not wanting to say it but he did, and not wanting to hear the aweful truth. "I was the one you made fall for you last week." Bikky added.

"You mean? You felt it too?" Lai asked.

Bikky sighed as Lai took the stool next to his. "Gods, and I was afraid you might not have even showed up tonight!" Lai replied, chuckling.

"You mean, you're not dumping me?" Bikky replied, a little shocked.

"No, I'm not going to dump you! I felt that spark when our lips met, apparently, I take it you did as well, hm?" Lai asked.

Bikky nodded, actually blushing deeply as Lai looked at him. "I meant what I said about wanting to know more about you too. But, I guess I know all there could be, ne?" Lai replied.

"I- I would like it if you were to kiss me again." Bikky replied.

"I know what you mean. You just want to take it slow, right Bikky? Just make sure what we felt last time wasn't just a passing lust of need?" Lai asked.

Bikky could only manage a silent nod. "Well, I can handle that, I've done this enough times to know when it feels wrong." Lai replied.

"With other men, or- or women also?" Bikky asked.

"Bikky, you're acting so ashamed of it. I've known I liked men when I got to that point in my life. But, you must understand it was before I met you that that happened. I won't let you fall into a pit of darknesss just because you thought you loved girls beforehand," Lai promised. "I know to take it easy, I'm still virgin so I've never actually done another guy before, but I know how to do it without hurting you more than it should. But, for now, us kissing is enough to keep me hooked onto you."

"Let's go to my place okay, Lai? Ryo's not home and won't be for a couple days yet. We can experiment on the kissing..." Bikky replied.

"Whatever you want." Lai replied.

Bikky decided to talk about how he was feeling about this whole thing on the walk home. "I- I've never really loved another guy before- but, I see Dee and Ryo doing that kind of stuff all the time. Yet, here I have no clue where to start to-" Bikky paused.

"Well, it's okay to be confused, or fumble through it." Lai replied.

"Yeah, I know what I mean, because with a woman I felt I had to- Well, take the lead, but with you I- I can just follow yours. Yet, I feel secure giving the control over to you get what I mean?" Bikky replied.

"I know, that's the good thing about being with someone you truely love, I guess, one of the benefits, is that neither feels like they need to take control. Their roles just sort of slip into place." Lai smiled at Bikky.

"What I don't get is why we've never noticed the connections we had until now?" Bikky asked.

"Well, the world works in odd ways, Bikky. Maybe by being freinds before being together intimately makes it easier for us while we fumble along our relationship." Lai started up the steps, before realizing that he needed Bikky to use his key on the outer door.

Bikky pushed the key into the lock and turned it before openning the door and taking his key. Once both were at the apartment they went into Bikky's room. "So? You want to talk about this some more?" Lai asked.

"Well, a bit, but I still want to.... Feel how it is to be kissed again by you and how it is to kiss you myself." Bikky said, quietly.

"Like I said, there really isn't a dominating role, not in this kind of relationship." Lai replied.

Bikky caught him off guard by a quick kiss upon his lips. Lai came back with one filled with passion and longing. Bikky moaned at it, before they broke for air. They kept experimenting with this until both fell asleep in the other's arms.
Bikky woke to the sound of someone walking down the hallway. At first, he thought it was Ryo, until the voice called out. "Bikky? Are you here?" Dee called.

The door knob twisted as Dee openned the door and Bikky nearly yelped as Dee came into the room. "Oh- my." Dee replied, simply in a very un- Dee- like manner.

"Dee, I can explain, just, don't wake him please, okay?" Bikky asked.

Dee motioned for Bikky to follow him into the living room. "So? Is that the person you were telling me about last week, Bikky?" Dee asked.

Bikky nodded. "Sit down, will you and relax?" Dee asked.

Bikky obeyed silently for once. "You seriously mean that sleeping beauty in there is whom you've fallen for?" Dee asked.

"Yes." Bikky replied.

He closed his eyes, oh- no, here it comes.... He was going to be yelled at to the Ice Age. "Glad to hear it," Dee patted his back. "Just, you know, don't rush into things and you'll be fine, kay?"

Bikky blinked. "You're not angry, or concerned because I'm.... I'm dating another... Guy?!" Bikky asked.

"No, not at all. I mean, the way you mentioned him the last time, I thought it was wonderful. Just because it's a guy shouldn't change my point of veiw on how well this is for you, Bikky." Dee replied.

"Really? You actually mean that?" Bikky asked.

"Yes. You and Lai can be together. When and if you're ready to take that final step, I'll be there for you when you need me. Ryo would flip, but, I think it's good of you to find someone you actually love, even if it's with a guy," Dee explained. "What were you two doing here last night, hmn?"

"Just kissing." Bikky replied.

"Ah, I see, well, you had better wake your young prince up, while I cook some breakfast for the three of us." Dee explained.

"But your coo-" Bikky had a hand put to his mouth.

"Don't worry, Ryo's taught me how to make his eggs on biscuits, so it won't suck." Dee replied, before grinning and running off to the kitchen/dinning room.

Bikky walked into his room, gently shaking Lai's shoulder and rubbing his back as he woke. "Come on, love, breakfast is cooking." Bikky said in his ear.

That got Lai up quick. Soon, he had entered the kitchen/dining area and stood there gawking at Dee. "Don't worry, this over- aged dork is okay with us being together." Bikky pointed to Dee.

"I am not an old geezer!" Dee spat out at Bikky.

"Hi, Dee." Lai replied, simply.

"At least I'm not a big- assed idiot like you!" Dee fired back.

"Says who? The zoo that's been on the search for you these past twenty years?" Bikky flicked the attack back.

Lai was stuck into the middle of a huge debate. Until the two calmed down, he tried to stay out of it. "Well, anyway, I don't think you should come here of all places if you don't want Ryo to find out about it, that is," Dee told the two of them while setting one egg carefully on it's toasted biscuit burning his fingers in the process. "I'll let you two use my apartment it'll be more private so you can adjust to this kind of thing, Bikky."

"Fine, next time we'll go to your place, it does sound better than being found out by Ryo." Bikky agreed, picking at his meal as though it would bite him.

"Wow, this is good." Came Lai's complement beside him.

Bikky figured his was safe enough to eat and so he did, shocked to find it did taste good. They ate in silence for the rest of the morning. Lai questioned Dee as to how he found out he was gay in the first place when Bikky felt Lai's hand grip his gently yet, firmly. This made Bikky feel safer than he normally felt. He had someone that would give the world to protect him without demanding anything in return, but that same protection. Bikky sighed as Dee explained that he'd known he was after catching a couple of convicts in a make out session in his first raid. This was going to be just fine, as long as Ryo didn't find out sooner than Bikky wanted him to.
