Somewhere, faraway, in a dark foreboding realm, in a mountain filled with evil, a shadowy crystal ball rested on a stand. A white, clawed hand laid itself upon the ball. In the darkness, a muttering could be heard.

"Cardalis Innouva Umbranati."

The crystal ball released an eerie glow. The shadowy contents swirled beneath the touch of the white, clawed, hand. The ball revealed a young man, his hair white, his eyes, gold, in his hand, a sorcerer's staff. Outside of the ball, white lips curled into a wicked smile.

"Cyrinth, the young incompetent sorcerer, of course, he fits perfectly. I shall have to make a note of that." The white hand tapped the shadowy ball. The image of Cyrinth disappeared and was replaced by an image of a woman with long black hair and purple eyes. Her face was streaked with tears.

"Ah, Relena, the successful cleric, I believe she shall be useful for this little game." The ball changed again to reveal another young man, sitting on his horse, his brown hair swaying in the light breeze, his blue eyes sad, a blood stained sword rested by his side.

"Karagon, the valiant knight, he shall do well." The ball changed yet another time to reveal a hooded rider urging his horse to gallop speedily.

"What have we here? A mysterious rider. Well, well, well, that's quite a surprise. I hope he won't be a nuisance, that would be quite annoying." The ball changed a final time to reveal a pair of people. Both of them had dark hair and green eyes. The woman was muttering to her partner as she and he both built a fire. Both of them cast an uneasy glance at a young man, his pale hair blew in the wind as he fingered his blade, his brilliant blue eyes gazing at the stars. The ball altered the image to reveal each one's aura within the ball; every person within had a white aura, that could mean only one thing,

Illuminati. Outside of the ball the white hand clenched into a fist. A snarl could be heard in the darkness.

"Curses! I thought I had destroyed them!" Gold and silver eyes glared angrily at the Illuminati trio. The white hand rose into the air, purple lightning struck it, causing the hand to glow. A large, humanoid Shinma appeared. It dropped to one knee and bowed its head.

"You summoned, Lord Innouva."

"I THOUGHT YOU SAID YOUR SOLDIER WOULDN'T FAIL!"

The Shinma flinched at Innouva's rage.

"Please my lord, my soldier did as best as it could, it didn't know that one had carried the Dreaded Lights." Innouva took a sharp intake of breath.

"One carried the Aurora Borealis?"

"Yes my lord."

"Who?"

"I do not know. But I do know that the beholder is dead."

Innouva angrily turned around and looked at the trio in the crystal ball.

"How many Illuminati did you leave alive?"

"Only three my lord."

"Three? The three I see in here?"

The Shinma cautiously peered into the ball. "Yes my lord."

"Good." Innouva relaxed. If only three were left then it should be relatively easy to eliminate the Illuminati race for good. "From what I can see, there seems only to be dyad Luna and a Solaris paladin. Am I correct?"

"Yes my lord."

"Then send your strongest army and destroy the remaining dyad. But leave the Solaris paladin to me. I want dyad Solaris to suffer as much as possible. Do not fail me this time Shinma, or I shall destroy you."

"Yes my lord." The Shinma rose and hurried away to fulfill his master's wishes.

Innouva walked over to the crystal ball and waved his white hand over it. Immediately, an image of the pale young Illuminati man appeared.

"Yes Himinarth, I have the perfect way for you to die."
