The chamber was musty and dimly lit. In the middle of the floor was a table. Upon it was a board that mapped out a massive span of terrain. Upon the board were 7 different colored pawns. Innouva materialized out of thin air and approached the board. He picked up the green pawn and grinned evilly.

"Well, lets get this game started." He placed the pawn back on the board and stepped away. Suddenly the board began to glow. Then the pawns moved to different spots on the board. The green pawn landed on a road nearby a forest. Three pawns, 1 brown, 1 blue, and 1 clear landed in the forest. The last three pawns, 1 white, 1 black, and 1 gray landed on a mountain. The board's glow began to fade. When it was completely gone, Innouva approached the board again. He reached into a pouch on his waist and pulled out a handful of small black stones. He circled the board several times before stopping next to the green pawn. Innouva reached out and placed his pile of black stones nearby the green pawn.

"I think I'll give someone a little trouble." With that, he moved the green pawn right into the clump of black stones.

"And a surprise meeting." As he moved the brown, blue, and clear pawns right into the pile.

"Yes. I think that will do fine. A perfect way to bring the group partially together." He moved to the other end of the board to where the other three pawns were.

"Now, what to do with you bunch of bothersome beings." Innouva grinned again as he emptied all of his black stones out and surrounded the pawns with them.

"Wait." He picked up the white pawn and grinned a third time.

"I almost forgot." He snapped his fingers. Instantly, another white pawn appeared. Carefully he placed the two pawns into the mess of stones, but made sure that they were together.

"I was going to make you suffer as much as possible. I nearly forgot, that would have been a mistake." With that he threw back his head and laughed. For what seemed like an eternity his laughter echoed throughout the chamber. When the sounds faded away, Innouva gazed at the board and whispered.

"The game `Interitus' begins."
