phone calls (person not in scene) just remember that, and somebody other than my friends review this thing!

Disclaimer: i don't own the X-Men, that honor belongs to the great Stan Lee and the bastards at Marvel Comics who are trying to break Remy and Rogue up. I only own the characters Aiyen and Phantom. My buddies own Niala and Orcania, and... oh screw it, just R&R.

"C'mon Aiyen, we're going shopping!" I looked up from my book, seeing Jubilee and Alison standing there with some poor guys credit cards. Shrugging and getting up, I took Drachenreider back upstairs and started hunting for my boots. Comming across a pair of sneakers first, I stuck my hand in one of them and found the drivers license I hadn't used in months. Shoving that in my pocket, I hopped downstairs while pulling my shoes on. "Now all we need is some one who can drive, and we're all set."

"Not a problem, I can do dat if some one lends me deir keys." I thought for a minute, then started looking for some one to sucker out of their car keys. "Can we borrow somebody keys?" "What for?" Great, anyone's car but Cyclops'. "We wanna go shopping, dat illegal 'round hea?" "Give me five minutes and I'll drive you." "I already got a license, jus' gimme you damn keys!" "So you can wreck my car? I don't think so, Cajun." "Gimme a break, I's probly de only person in dis mansion wid no points on deir license."

"Scott, just give the poor teenager your keys." "I don't want a bunch of teenage girls wrecking my car, Jean." "Would it make you feel any better if I went with them?" I pulled out a chair and sat down, this was going to take a while. "Yes, but we need you here." "I'm not the only person in this mansion who can cook, you know."

"C'mon, le's go see if some one else can fork over some keys." I pushed my chair back in and slipped out the door, looking for anyone standing around that wasn't Remy or Logan. We ran into Storm first, who didn't even ask questions before handing us her car keys. "Danks Storm, you'll get you car back in one piece!" Jubilee drug me toward the door, so I grabbed ahold of Niala's arm and drug her out the door with me.

"But Aiyen... " Niala said, but I cut her off. "Don't you 'But Aiyen...' me, Niala. If I'm going to do de girly act, then so are you." "But, Ah wanna sit and read with Kurt!" "Forget Kurt for de time being, how offen does someone hand over their keys to teenagers on a shopping spree?" "Ah dunno, but Ah just wanna read." "You can buy a new book while your here, okay?" "Okay." (A/ N: Aiyen was reading for about 2 hours, so it's about 10 o'clock. and yes, her accent has gotten weaker.)

TWENTY MINUTES LATER; MALL

"Okay, where do we go first?" Jubilee looked around, making for a clothing store me, Niala, and Alison and Alison struggling to keep up. "Hey, not everyone lived in a mall Jubilee!" She glared at Alison, but I was confused. "Yeah, I lived in a mall in Los Angeles."

"Cool, so what's de occasion for a shopping trip?" Neither of them answered me. I shrugged at Niala, who was looking around the store with interest. I finally gave in and started looking, deciding that if I was going to drive a couple hormone high teenagers and my best friend around all day I may as well join in. A few minutes passed before I found something that interested me, not big on clothes shopping. Swipping one of the credit cards for Jubilee's coat pocket, I paid quickly before she drug me out the door and into another store. I had ahold of Alison's arm and Alison had Niala, who was hoping along and fighting her shoe back on. It was 1: 00 before we stopped for lunch, then my phone rang. "You have a cell phone!?" "Qui, now shut up for a sec. Hello?" Aiyen, give one of the others the phone. "How'd you get my cell number, Archangel?" Gambit gave it to me, now give Alison, Niala or Jubilee the phone. I rolled my eyes and handed Jubilee my cell, yet another gift from Havok that I got shortly before escaping the Brotherhood. "Archangel wan's to talk with one o' you."

"Hiya Warren, what's up?" She listened for a minute, but I lost interest in her conversation and let my mind wander back to before the Brotherhood. Remembering all the hell me and my siblings raised made me smile, especially considering that my memory of before the Brotherhood had been erased.

FLASHBACK; SOME YEARS PREVIOUS

"I don't know what I'm going to do with you six, especially not after what I just saw from Darik." (A/ N: this whole scene takes place in German, but I'm being lazy and doing it this way.) My mother said, pacing in front of a line consisting of me, my twin brother Kenta, my older sisters Catherine and Katlyn, my oldest brother Peter, and my cousin Kurt. Darik was a family friend of ours, a mutant who used the light from the moon and stars to create energy bombs, and had an amulet that acted as an energy sorce during the day or new moon. Mom looked from guilty face to guilty face, looking for and explaination in her line of blood-covered children. She started with Kurt, who was in just as much trouble with mom as we were. "So what do you have to say about this- Nightcrawler, is it?" "His name is Kurt, and if I were you I'd be ashamed that I didn't know my own nephews name." "Well Raven, you aren't me. And I for one am quite thankful that I don't look like that."

"Mother, be nice to Mrs. Runke. She has every right to be upset with us, right guys?" We all nodded in unison, Darik joining the line and nodding right along with us. Mother was too busy yelling at Mystique to notice, so we took advantage of the situation and left the room. "So, exactly what did the six of you do?"

"It's more of a 'what did Darik do' sitiation, we just so happened to be in the area at the time. But what Darik did was use his powers to be a show off. Some Anti-Mutant protester peoples saw him, then they attacked us all and then you showed-ed up Kurt." Kenta said, his usually clouded sapphire eyes bright with his anger. Mine probably looked the same, only a bright shade of purple instead of blue. Yeah, my eyes were origionally purple and my dominant power was telepathy and telekinesis. Another ability me and Kenta shared seemed more like a cross between vampirism and Rogue's powers: If another mutants blood came in contact with our skin, or in some way, shape or form ended up in our blood stream, that mutant's dominant power became ours temporarily. A major blood transfusion had to take place for the effects to be permanate, which is how I wound up with Gambit's eyes. "So… Are we going out to dinner again?"

"Looks that way, Kenta. Kurt, will you be joining us?" "Ja. I have nothing else to do, so why not?" We walked toward the nearest fast-food place, our only concern… what to get for dinner.

END FLASHBACK

"Come on, I'm wiped. Let's go back to the mansion, I have a feeling that everyone might worry if we stay out too long." I pocketed my phone and grabbed my bags, following Jubilee out of the mall and toward the parking garage. And so began the trip back home, my attitude about returning Storm's car the way we borrowed it agrivating the hell out of Jubilee. She wanted to listen to the radio, but in her case that required changing the station. So we drove home in silence, handing Storm her keys as soon as we found her. "Hm, I guess she kept her promise and returned it in one piece." "Yuh really doubted her, Jubilee?" "No, I'm just saying. Gambit can't be that responsible of a driver, can he?"

"I dunno, las' time I saw Remy before comming to de X-Men he didn't have his liscense. So where is everybody, dey can't of vanished into thin air… could they?" I didn't need my old psychic powers to know they were up to somthing, or the heart attack they nearly gave me when Jubilee shoved me into a room. "What in de HELL?!"

"Forget your own birthday, kiddo?" "STOP CALLIN' ME KIDDO, DAMNIT, I'M 17!" I half-shouted at Jean, holding my hand up to block an optic blast. Cyclops gave me a look, then laughed when Phantom sent me flying into a wall. "Don' DO THAT!!" "Poor things been bored out of her mind, Aiyen. Between Beast and Professor Xavier asking question after question about who knows what in that lab, and Remy ranting about how many times she nearly killed him… I don't blame her for being bored."

"Yeah, this place is boring. I liked the King's catacombs better than this, even if the only reason is because I had a bible to read." "Speaking o' bible's, I gotcha somethin' kid." I dug around in one of the bags I ended up carrying, pulling out the book I bought Phantom. "What's this for, Cajun?" I rolled my eyes at my spirit, somehow dodging another telekinetic attack. "If you don' want it, I can always take it back and get my twenty bucks back." "Over my cold, dead soul Cajun! Oh yeah, happy birthday." She tossed me a wrapped box and settled in to read, smiling broadly as she read to herself. Kurt shook his head and muttered something about "Only in America..." before handing me a book-sized box and grabbing his own bible to read. Everyone else nearly burried me in boxes, bags, and envelopes; but I fought my way out and managed to smile at everyone... Even Cyclops.

I spent the rest of the afternoon openning presents and stuffing my face with birthday cake, getting away with a few beers while I was at it. I wound up with two or three different books(one of which was a photo album), art supplies and a sketchbook(lucky guess, Colossus), a Celtic Cross, a deck of cards(courtesy of Remy), various outfits and ammounts of cash, and a new uniform. It left more to the imagination than my Brotherhood uniform did, yet still left enough visible to turn a few heads. I liked turning heads, especially if it was Logan's head I was turning. Speaking of Logan, he wasn't in the room and everyone seemed to be plotting something. Brushing it off as nothing more than a plot to stick my hand in warm water later, I picked up the photo album Kurt had given me and nearly fainted when I looked inside.

"My family… " I whispered, obviously getting Kurt's attention since he started to explain. "You said you vanted to know more about your family, so I figured zat pictures vould arouse your own memories." "They do… This was before Darik died, when me and Kenta first realized we were posessed. I remember mom panicked when she found out we were mutants, then she stayed with Father Ryan's mother for two months." "I remember zat, we had to put up vith Uncle John and mother's cooking." "Then Darik introduced us to his wife's cooking, meaning we could escape there every other day if need be."

"Aiyen, are you and Kurt related?" "Ja,
Fräulein Munroe. Ve are cousins on her fathers side… mein mothers side."

"But that would make you German, why do you have a Cajun accent?" I rolled my eyes at the question, hoping some one had something intelligent to say. "My accent is temporary, it should of wore off by now. I noticed it getting weaker, so it might be gone by de end o' de year." "Logan's in the garage if you want to go find him, he said he has something for you… he won't tell us what it is though." I got up to leave, giving Kurt a kiss on the cheek before heading toward the garage to find Logan. He ambushed me by the door, a smirk on his face as he handed me a set of car keys.

"What de-- ?" "Close your eyes and follow me, you'll find out." I don't know what made me do it, but I closed my eyes and took his hand. Two minutes of walking later, I felt him let go of my hand and walk a few steps away. "Okay squirt, you can look now." I opened my eyes but I was confused, I was looking at a black motorcycle with red and silver flames painted on the side. "Why do I have a feeling Havok had somet'ing to do with this?" "The card says it's from 'an anonnymus friend'… do you know any of those?" "Quite a few, mon ami… quite a few."

(Kurt/ Niala hentai fic, should be posted by the end of February) any questions not answered in the recap will either be answered in a later chapter, but should be directed to the email address on my profile nonetheless.
